Wingate by Wyndham - Wilmington

The shower in my room did not have soap or shampoo. The carpet was dirty and the room had an odd smell. The Corridor carpet was also dirty.

Breakfast could be better, but overall a great place to stay!

Good value hotel

Great stay

The man who helped me at check-in was excellent. He quickly accommodated my request for a higher floor and didn't charge me extra even though it was a larger room. Although, a bit dated, the hotel is well taken care of. I did have a cockroach show up in the bathroom one day, however, it was dying, which to me means they probably had the property sprayed recently for bugs which is a good thing. The location was close to the beach, Walmart, and fast food restaurants. The area surrounding the hotel was okay but had a bit of riffraff hanging around the outskirts of the property. I never had an issue but I didn't come and go in the evenings. I always felt safe inside the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and the hotel was quiet. It was a great hotel for the price.

The hotel was ok. The staff was very professional and nice. The sink didnt drain properly, the body wash was empty and there was no house cleaning on our day (they did make us aware of that in advance). The bed was fairly comfortable.

I think the TV should have more streaming services downloaded but other than that everything was great.

1. Tooth brushes are with a fee. Not complimentary as other hotels typically do. 2. Pancake machine runs but not coming up with the right size of pancakes. (Smaller than a palm)

A thoroughly average hotel. Nice lobby and good selection of sundries and friendly staff. The room was average with nice bedding but there were stains on the rug and the sofa looked like an old dorm sofa, very uninviting and tired looking. The pool was small and also uninviting, and built on the back of the hotel next to the parking lot, not a good look.

It was a great overall experience. I didn´t expect the guests appreciation hour, it was great.
