It's really the Only place to stay in Winchester. It's historic , charming, clean, and perfect. Walk to almost anywhere you like. Bar and restaraunt are excellant.

Amazing accommodations. Beautiful architecture, rooms were extremely spacious with fridge and Keurig and the most amazing shower. Great location to walk to all nearby stores, restaurants and cafes.

The Staff I was unable to check in at 4, it was 5:40 before the room was ready. And unfortunately we were standing at the desk when the desk host was communicating with the person's servicing the room her end of the conversation wasn't very nice to Benjamin. Unfortunately we heard it all. We put it down as she was just having a bad day. But other than that we always love staying at the George Washington, the only thing that I could say that could use an improvement was the bathroom ceiling and walls could use a little update and the blind was unable to be pulled up but the concierge offered to get maintenance in and we didn't want to put them through the trouble. Absolutely love the staff desk, bar, spa and restaurant. And the concierge was great.

This is a great stop and a beautiful place. Highly recommended and will stay there again when in the area.

We love to stay here every time we are in Winchester! Awesome pedestrian zone with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Great hotel.

Nice Hotel

Clean room, plenty of fresh towels, staff friendly but could have greeted with more information as to what was offered at hotel.

Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Quiet, clean, spacious rooms, beds were very comfortable. Offers in- room dining that is very fast. Parking was easy and the location is great. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The George Washington is a charming hotel in a great location. The property has character, and it was an easy, comfortable place to stay during the road trip. The morning staff was warm and friendly. The hotel was a bit pricey, and the check-in experience was not especially warm or welcoming. I had requested a top-floor room, but one was not available, which was understandable, though disappointing. The morning staff was much friendlier and left a better impression.

Bed was very comfortable. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Great parking options. The indoor garage was very safe. Room facing to the courtyard. The pool is in the basement overlook the street. And so is the gym.

Great walking location to everything. Fancy historic building.
