Staybridge Suites Waco South - Woodway by IHG

They are undergoing renovations. They only had half a shower door so the floor was soaking wet. The electrical was way off so you had to have a light on in the main room for the bathroom to turn on. Also, the closet door were glued shut so we couldn’t get to hangers.

Room was incredible for the price - clean and very spacious! More like an efficiency apartment than a hotel room! Pool was clean and well maintained as was the nice grilling area (bonus!) The gym was very clean, good size, good variety of equipment and all the equipment was functioning. The breakfast was awesome! Definitely one of the best free breakfasts I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and there was a wonderful variety to choose from. Would absolutely stay here again (have already booked my next visit) Very little negatives I can say. I work out daily and finding a hotel with a good gym area is always very important to me. This was one of the better hotel gyms I've seen so far; however, I think it might need better A/C or airflow because, although I do expect to get hot and sweaty working out, it felt like there was no A/C to help get cooled back off and I had to cut my workout a little shorter than normal. Also, the breakfast was fantastic and I was so happy to find such great options especially healthy ones that fit my lifestyle, I was sad that the apple juice dispenser was either out or malfunctioning. I get up very early in the morning to workout and then go to breakfast, so I was one of the first people there and that makes me think it must not have been working properly. No biggie. Was still really great.

The rooms were amazing and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again!

Excellent customer service

Full size refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stovetop & a dishwasher in our room. Smelled a little musty but it was also 100+ heat index. Convenient location for us. Overall it was a great place to stay. We will be back!

Hotel is cleaned well overall. However, there is an awful carpet smell when you walk in sometimes and especially in the hallways. Smells like burnt carpet and sewage. Only way I can describe it. The rooms are spacious and clean. Love the kitchenette area. Very useful especially with kids being hungry. Breakfast was okay. Not enough yogurt toppings. Refill wasn’t happening unless asked. Coffee was not good. Won’t be staying again
