Located only 1500 ft from the Main Market Square, the 5-star Hotel Monopol Wrocław offers air conditioned rooms in a uniquely designed building. It also has free Wi-Fi and an indoor swimming pool. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to everything we had planned to visit. Hotel staff very helpful and informed. We opted not to have breakfast as we like to get out and about trying local foods.

I’m still waiting on my deposit! Which was huge! Over $2000 aud! We have traveled Europe for over 3 months and was never asked for that much deposits. The hotel is not helpful at all realising the money. Staff at breakfast rude and lazy.

The room had a cool modern style and was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options. The bathroom - including the toilette - are divided from the room interior by only a transparent glass wall, meaning there is little privacy while using the toilet. There needs to be a curtain at least.

Ambiance is great. The room was very comfortable. Great staff, great location. I've stayed in Wrocław multiple times but this has been the best hotel I've stayed in the area.

Wonderful location and breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The noise of the bathroom from the other room was very loud, every use of the shower or toilet was audible in our room. With the light switch next to bed you could only switch off the lights in the room, to switch them back on you had to get up and walk to the entrance of the room. What even worse, the same switch next to bed was also switching off all the lights in the bathroom, what was really annoying for the other person who was in the bathroom at this moment. By the way, the room was dark even during the day with all lights on. The only one armchair in the double room was very uncomfortable. Apparently the interior designer had no sense of functionality on his mind. There was only single pillow for each person, so we had to ask for the second one. There was now way to prepare tea in the room, when we called the reception, the lady brought us the teapot with only one black tea sachet, so we had to share it - there was also one green and one rooibos sachet, that we don't drink.

The room was very spacious and impeccably clean, and the location was fantastic. First of all, the soundproofing wasn’t great. We could hear noise from outside, and one night we were disturbed by loud music from a neighboring room, which interfered with our sleep. Also, I found the room a bit too dark, as the lighting wasn’t ideal. Lastly, there was a small issue with the shower: water tended to leak through a little gap between the shower glass and the bathtub.

Our room was on the 1st floor, and I think the rooms don't have sound noise isolation. I could hear everything outside the room, especially the working housekeepers.

Located in the city center. And we liked a very comfortable bed! The breakfast in the hotel is too prices for the quality of the food…. really disappointing! Also the design of the bathroom. They provide the shower option in the bathroom with the bath, but it’s badly designed so all the water is going on the floor making the bathroom very wet!
