Lots of charm, the rooftop garden and koi pond were relaxing, staff wear traditional dress, and it’s in a great area of Beijing. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. When we left one of the staff brought us pomegranate juice while we waited outside for our ride. Breakfast buffet was delicious. If we return to Beijing we would stay again No complaints. We had a wonderful stay

the general experience was ok, but considering the price this is definitelly not where it should have been. room was clean and fine, but we had to change the first since it was heavily smelling smoke the hotel is haunted by cheap colored LED and playful signs. i was expecting this to be a quite luxury experience but the staff was just simply going through the moves when assisting us. the location is fundamentally unreachable unless via taxi. airport shuttle is provided at a fee which 4 times standard taxi.

Clean and spacious room Pool was unavailable. Beautiful garden was poorly maintained and the pond was empty. Gym small and located in basement. Sauna and steam room non functional.

Overall it's an old hotel with old facilities (carpet is dirty) and the way the walk-in shower was designed was awkward because you can only use the rainforest shower head and not the hand shower. Otherwise, the water easily overflows and leaks everywhere in the bathroom. Fortunately, the hotel staff was happy to change us to another room upon notification of the issue. Unfortunately, the same issue existed in the changed room. We just had to learn to use the rainforest shower. It was a bit inconvenient.

Beautiful architecture, great hospitality. For example, concierge staff 白毫 Haug went the extra mile to locate my parcel delivery. Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Tanghua.

This hotel is probably one of the most beautiful places we've ever slept in. As soon as you arrive, you will notice a beautiful entrance with a little waterfall in the front. The hall is majestic, with some displays of art. After a smooth check in you will be guided to your room by one of the members of the staff. The room was just exceptional. It had wooden decorations and the view on a park, which gave a great sense of peace. Inside the room there were all the amenities you could ever need. The breakfast buffet was incredible, you could really eat anything you wanted from all around the world. But the best thing of this hotel was probably the garden. It was able to mix Chinese and Japanese elements in such an harmonic way. There was a small lake with a path you could follow to immerse yourself in that magical place. We even saw two peacocks and many birds. The staff was also really helpful, they were able to give you all kinds of tips.

Location is very good. The room is much smaller then expect. The staffs service quite not good. I check out in the morning. In the afternoon, a hotel staff called and asked me when to check out. They also double charged my room fee. It’s so ridiculous.
