The lobby and facilities were as advertised, and the property is conveniently located near the ferry terminal. There are several restaurants within walking distance, making it easy to get around and find dining options even without a car. Overall, the location is very convenient for travelers. Due to illness, we had to postpone our travel plans, and the change was approved by the property management in advance. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that our reserved room was sold out and we had been downgraded from a triple room to a double room. The property owner then demanded cash payment on-site and blamed us for not noticing the room/beds discrepancy immediately after check-in. To make matters worse, the owner abruptly left the front desk and was unreachable until late in the evening. After considerable back-and-forth communication, he eventually agreed to move us to the correct room the following day. The situation was disappointing and caused unnecessary stress at the start of our trip. While the issue was ultimately resolved, the lack of communication and professionalism significantly affected our overall experience.

The room was very comfortable, and the owner was very nice and helpful. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. They don't have an elevator, so you have to go up stairs to the room. This was not a surprise.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the homestay is on a very busy street on a VERY busy island. I wouldn't recommend going the island in the first place. Development is uncontrolled, ugly and often trashy. There are thousands of noisy, polluting motor bikes EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately, the homestay is right on a busy street with noisy traffic early morning until night. We asked for a quiet room but were refused, saying double rooms only face the street. Also, the only common space to eat is open to the punishing weather and right on the noisy street. We had difficulty finding a decent restaurant anywhere on the island. All in all, we wouldn't recommend going to the island at all. Sadly, it's been wrecked by over-development and over-tourism.

Clean and hospitality

We had such a wonderful stay at Teacher Cai's homestay. The rooms and the community area were clean and beautifully maintained. It was in an excellent location and the staff were very helpful and kind. We will recommend it to others. And we look forward to coming back :-) Nothing

Exceptional

Host was very hospitable - send us a list of recommendations to visit. The atmosphere is very cozy and spacious. Shared space on the ground floor was pleasant and great to spend some time with family to drink tea or eat. No complaints.

We had a great time at this homestay. The location is ideal: close to the harbour and to lots of restaurants and cafes. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We will come back there for sure!

Our stay was perfect! We had booked the Double room but got a free Upgrade to an amazing two bed room with a wonderful terrace! The room was clean and the beds very comfortable! We would definitely stay There again and would recommend it to anyone!

This place was incredible! Located right in the middle of town a very short walk from the ferry. The owner is incredibly nice and even offered us an after-beach shower in the afternoon on the day of our departure. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Clean and very big open space. The balcony is super nice and very useful as well! The owner is super nice, replies super fast and gives very good recommendations! Would love to come back! 10/10 from my mom, aunt, and I!
