Yalikavak Marina Garden Hotel

It’s very run down and not well maintained. The room feels like a prison and the level of cleanliness was shocking we had to request bed sheet change upon arrival and then went to the local supermarket, got wipes and cleaned the headboard and the surrounding area which was filthy with dust. Truly nightmarish 2 nights!

Charming boutique hotel Charming but Disrupted by Noise The Yalıkavak Hotel Garden has the charm and character of a true boutique stay. The gym (150m) and breakfast spot (200m) are nearby, and valet parking (€20/day) about 200m away was convenient. The beach club was not yet open (scheduled for July 15, 2025), which was fine. However, the noise from the adjacent nightclub was unbearable—music played until 3:00 AM nightly. We considered leaving but couldn’t find alternative accommodation as Bodrum was fully booked. Sadly, we won’t return, at least not during high season.

The stuff was friendly and helpful

Lovely room, building and garden. Clean, nicely serviced daily, shady outdoor communal seating area. Close to the marina entrance and walking distance to the bus station and restaurants and shops in the older quarter. Breakfast is offside at a cafe and was tasty. Staff pleasant and assisted me when I had some issues. The pool was not available even though we received emails saying it was open and there was no decent beach access. It was also unclear whether fitness centre was available. There is construction going nearby too.

Everything apart from the lack of a pool was lovely.. including the breakfast although it was off-site.. Very very disappointed a pool was not available we had been notified via email several times that the pool was available until after the date we were there... I would not have stayed there if I had known otherwise it is a great place with great staff.

They have allowed access to the private beach of the marina beach hotel It is over priced / value for money

Having access to Yalikavak Resort's facilities (Beach/Pool) that is right across the hotel. Circulating in the hotel felt like a mini village! The marina is just steps away with a good variety of restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room size and layout.

Clean rooms and great facilities you can use. The pool and little beach are new and to a very high standard! Mustafa was very helpful throughout our stay!

Nothing really, maybe the exterior decor and the size of the room. The hotel is not clean, there is no security, they leave the receptionist to be the security! The musics of the surrounding night clubs stays until 3:30 and the walls are very thin so you can’t sleep until then. We had 3 rooms at that hotel which is not worth the money paid and the 3 rooms had issues with AC with safe with insects all around you. In our last night when they refused to give us a late check out, a drunk women with her boyfriend got into a fight and she started to scrams at 3 am and didn’t stop until 8! There was no security to help we were unable to sleep and scared to go out, the receptionist who is a young man didn’t know what to do and the police arrived at 8 only! 5 hours of screaming and the hotel says we can’t do anything! I forced my late checkout on them after this because we couldn’t sleep at night and we had 2 children with us. There is no breakfast you have to go to the Marina if you want to eat. I requested a minivan to pick us up and the driver didn’t help with the bags, the AC was not working he was on the phone the entire time and he stopped for petrol while we are in the car!!!! this is the second worst place I stayed at my entire life. The insects where everywhere and the had no solution, they gave us expired things to help but no spray nothing. The floor is dirty you just try to wipe it with a tissue and see. The room smelled of cigarettes and they said sorry the customer before you just left! There is nothing at the hotel no pool no beach no reception “reception is a room with a desk”

I could not say enough about how good this hotel is. Location, staff, cleanliness etc. 10/10 would recommend to everyone. The pool is a 2/3 min walk from the hotel, but wow, the private beach and pool is breathtaking. Genuinely not one bad thing to say!

Exceptional

The location They charged me by mistake and I had to pay another time and till now I didn't recieve the refund from my bank therefore I have to pay a visit to the bank which is super annoying ,plus with all that I asked for a late checkout and instead of compensating me about all the trouble they didn't allow it even for an hour.
