Able to eat outside, private onsen No rotenburo, fake plants in the onsen window. I wish they have two chairs in the room. Just one is not enough

Very clean, friendly staff, tasteful decor and comfortable room. Very comfortable onsen I wish there is coffee in the room. I wish there is a choice of bread or toast for breakfast

Rooms were new. Private hot bath was a great idea whole family could enjoy. Hotel is located in a nice area in woods so it is good for relaxing. Breakfast was so poor. Water wasn't even served! Cheap microwaved type food with instant type coffee was served. Breakfast's total worth would be 500yen maximum. Foods volume was really small for a grown up, enough for a kid though. This experience totally destroyed our image on this hotel. Our booking was almost 40,000yen, so you can find proper hotel with good breakfast for this price.

unfortunately nothing Very bad breakfast made in microwave, powdered eggs instead of real eggs, no actual view of Mount Fuji or any of the Fuji like charm Bad hygiene as we found hairs and insects in our bed upon arrival Very unprofessional staff that broke our new luggage by basically throwing it down the stairs, despite our repeated request not to touch the luggage. Completely irresponsible manager who was incapable to handle the matter in a professional manner and didn’t bother to discuss any compensation or replacement. On top of that he refused to escalate the matter to his manager and give us a feeling of actually caring about our concern. We were left to reach out to the hotel management after our stay, but only received a basic apology for the incident without further proposal or intention to settle the matter. We had to replace our brand new and relatively expensive Rimowa luggage ourselves. It’s a pity that the hotel management didn’t show any interest or effort to settle the matter properly and come to a mutual compromise which we were very open to discuss. Only after receiving their final email we decided to write this review as expression of our great disappointment.

The hotel is within walking distance from the Asahigaoka Park near Lake Yamanaka, and you can see Mount Fuji just by opening the window in the room. Originally, check-in was available before 10 p.m., but due to our itinerary, we communicated in advance and arrived at the hotel almost at midnight. We are thankful for the owner's patience in waiting for us. The hotel is fully equipped with a communal hot spring bath, and the rooms have high ceilings, which completely eliminates any sense of oppression. It's worth mentioning the breakfast, which was exquisitely presented and tasted great. When leaving, the owner helped us book a taxi and communicated our destination to the driver in advance, making our journey smooth.

Lovely place to relaxing. Every staffs are friendly polite and great service. My little son love this place so much. There is two private onsen. They are so nice. The hotel is so beautiful.

Nice comfortable room. Nice public bath. Nice reception and restaurant area (breakfast). Nice large terrace with Mt. Fuji view (except for a badly placed utility pole disturbing the view) The road going towards Almeria was not properly marked with signs pointing to the property. I had some difficulty finding it. Also, the telephone number for Almeria listed at Booking.com went unanswered, so I was not able to contact to ask for directions. The price was very high, and the breakfast charge should be included, and not charged separately. (However it was a reasonable price (JPY 1500) for the nice & tasty breakfast served with a beautiful presentation.
