Room was big. Bed is comfortable We were temporary stopping our car at entrance so to offload our luggage and then park the car at the higher ground floor opposite to hotel entrance. 2 staff consecutively told us "u cannot park the car here. Here is only for tour bus!" We dont have any instructions for parking before we arrive and this hotel 80% were tour group. They keep all the parking on the ground floor easy approach parking lots to tour bus. We understand after the first night and we didn't expect. The 2nd night when we return to hotel. The staff who check in for us told us "you cant park the car at the entrance" How unprofessional that this staff dont see what we are doing and right the way jump into "u cant park the car here"'s conclusion! We just offload our stuff and then park the car. As the parking lot this hotel let individual customer park need to walk 5 mins back to the entrance while keep all the ground floor parking to tour bus. We totally understand but just the way hotel staff perceive what we are doing make us feel awkward.

Spacious room None

1. The room was very big. This meant a lot of space to open many large suitcases, and space to place clothes around to dry after washing. 2. The onsite onsen is really nice. It's basic, but refreshing. There is an indoor and and outdoor segment, as well as a sauna. 3. Reasonably nice view of the surrounding forests and mountains from the room. 1. Place is visibly dated. The doors use physical keys to lock/unlock - unlike almost all other hotels which use keycards or passcodes. 2. There is no option to select the temperature of the air conditioning in the rooms. We went in autumn, and by default the heater was on. It got too warm in the room at night with the heater running and we eventually shut off the heater and opened a window. 3. Wifi lacks sufficient bandwidth to cope with the number of guests the place expects to host. My device shows that there is signal but no internet connection.

Right next to Yamanakako. I picked this location so I could see the sunrise against Mt. Fuji. I had to walk a few minutes but it is a nice location for viewing Fuji in the morning if the weather is nice. The staff were super helpful and also accommodating. They took extra care to make my stay comfortable There were a lot of tourist groups coming in, so it was quite loud in the lobby and dining hall. I may have been the only person who wasn’t in a tour group.

The Sri lankan gentleman who was at the reception and spoke English made our stay comfortable. He managed to get me some veg gluten free food that the staff in Restaurant refused. This is a stamd alone hotel. Some food during lunch hours can be made available

The facility like onsen The hotel accept tour guide, and too many buses got in the way of parking. Our car was blocked to exit by one of the buses. At the check-out, the ramp to the lobby was very steep, and the staff did not show up to help. maybe it is normal in Japan??

Easy parking, enormous room, no view worth mentioning, old building but mostly well maintained

Spacious room and excellent breakfast Nothings

location, environment, and interior size and decoration of the room I was shocked to see some of the staff being so rude. It was horrifying to see an old male worker come into the women's public bathhouse and humiliate the women, saying it was closing time and asking them to leave.
