One of the last genuine areas of Bali. If you want trinket shops and endless tourists focusing on Insta shots, this is not the stay for you. We loved our four days here. Our room was large with a really nice balcony. We could hear the waves crashing even with the windows and doors closed. The infinity pool looking out onto the ocean was amazing. Walking along the black sand beach was the highlight. The black sand makes for a more solid surface. A skim of water stays on the surface at all times making it look like a mirror. Beautiful to walk on. The food was decent and staff were absolutely lovely! Would stay again. We wished there was more Balinese or SE Asian food items instead of western choices.

It was calm, very friendly and polite staff, nice pool, room was just normal, in the pictures it’s looking bigger and newer. However I think this hotel is the best in this area. Very good massage. The location is very far - from the airport like 2.30-3 hours. Location of the hotel between old facilities and sometimes u feel bad smell of cows, which is staying around. The ocean has a big waves so it was impossible to swim. Far from the shops and cafes. Breakfast was very limited.

The location is quiet and beautiful. It is right on the beach with beautiful views when you are on the second floor. Food at the restaurant is good with seating right on the beach. And the staff is friendly. This is my second stay here. Some of the bathrooms have showers alfresco. But not all of the rooms have this.

It is too far from the airport and other touristy destinations like Ubud. The traffic doesn't help.

For me I don't like in the city and party I really love peaceful life and do activities like a simple thing ? Perfect!!

What a beautiful location! One side it's a beautiful ocean and on the other end it's a rice paddy fields. Very nice decor, clean rooms, good food and service. Very peaceful location.

Friendly staff, good food, good location, I stayed at room 15 and after both of us got bed bugs ..

Constant smell and smoke from the burnt rice straws. Absolutely nothing to do if you are not a surfer. Local village is 15 min away but it is very agricultural. Very long drive from Denpasar dew to the heavy traffic on the two lines road.

We enjoyed the serenity, peaceful atmosphere, and laid-back surroundings if you want to just lazy by the pool all day you can,which we did. The staff were friendly, amazing and helpful, especially when the air con in our room wouldn't work, they were so happy to show us 3 other rooms that we could choose from. The menu was simple but sometimes that's the best menu. Yes we would stay there again ♥️ It is a long trip to get there but once you are there ......

Good location, friendly staff Air conditioners barely worked. Staff accommodated by moving to another room however it was still very hot during the night. Also quite a lot of mosquitoes made it into the room despite all doors being closed.
