They should take better care of the place. Like cleaning the tile joints and so. Also the rooms are a bit noisy, you can hear noises from other rooms.

As per our booking request, they placed us in a quiet room, away from the busy main road. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and luckily, being a brand new building, still very clean. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The hot shower was great and the AC worked beautifully. Wi-Fi was constantly available within the premises. All staff at the Front Office and F&B were helpful and friendly without being intrusive at all. The security officers always offered help whenever we needed to cross the main road in front of the hotel. The breakfast generally offered a good variety of Indonesian dishes and some bakery items. The espresso machine was a bonus when it was placed at the breakfast buffet table (not available when hosting big groups of students). The location was near the Yogyakarta CBD areas, with many local shops and eateries within walking distance. During the two weeks we stayed there, there were many big groups of interstate students and visitors staying in the hotel - travelling by oversized coaches. We had no issue with those guests who were generally polite and friendly; however, the hotel seemed to have difficulties in maintaining their overall service at the reception and restaurant areas. Having only two small lifts available, they could have warned other 'normal' visitors of the big groups' arrival/departure times, so we could avoid the unnecessary queue for the lifts. The same goes with the seating for the breakfast service at the restaurant. The amount and presentation of the food & beverages at breakfast seemed to "degrade" on the mornings when the big groups of students were there, compared to the hotel's "quieter" mornings. We're not big eaters, but could see the F&B staff's struggle when the big groups were having their breakfast together.
