Immaculate dinner and breakfast. The definitive Ryokan experience.

Staff are dedicated to one room and delivered very good and helpful services. Food of dinner and breakfast were very good. Onsen was a little bit some.

Easy access to the lake, snoopy Chaya and the floral village! The dinner was excellent! We were surprised fugu was included in the menu :) Breakfast was also exceptional. Onsen was great too there was private and public ones. Staff was very helpful.

The ryokan was traditional but very comfortable and nicely appointed. The meals were fabulous - varied, delicious, and creative. We appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. The inn provided free shuttle service to the train station, which was very convenient. The outdoor hot springs were the star feature though - nothing beats soaking outside on a chilly night! The rooms were well kept but slight outdated. Otherwise, the facilities were very comfortable.

Location is perfect. The walking street is 5 minutes away with lots of good food. Dinner at the Ryokan was exceptional. Well-curated by the head chef. No repeat over 3 days. nothing !! All was exceptional.

Location was excellent, facilities were beautiful and clean, staff were very kind and attentive.

The room was quite spacious and the outdoor bath was really comfortable The truck delivery bay was just outside our window, ruining the experience of using the outdoor delivery bath ( room 103). I really don't think the place was full and giving us this room was extremely inconsiderate from them The food service took way too long. 2 to 3 h for a dinner sitting on a tatami is really exhausting. Some food item were missing for one of the guest. I pointed it out during the dinner but nothing was done to remediate to it From 8:30 pm it is becoming a ghost place . Everybody is gone. It is extremely inconvenient. You have one man keeping the gate and that is all Despite all the foreigners I have seen in the hotel nothing is done to accommodate them. Not even the menu are google translated. the public bath were very tiny and it seems that their actual bath were under renovation. We would have appreciated a heads up on that point so I could have cancelled ahead.

Everything was excellent and the staff were so kind and accommodating. It was a bit far from the station, but the shuttle was excellent and a life saver.

The very sincere and friendly staff, authentic ryokan atmosphere , private outdoor onsen, as well as exceptional japanese cuisine made our memorable trip. The doorway of our room has a shadow headroom, which gives us an unpleasant feeling. The fridge shouldn't be in the bedroom.

It was very prepared services, and all of staffs were very kind and helpful. Especially, their Kaiseki contents were extraordinary and well distributed for nutritionally. Also, it was very tasty. I can always go back there again whenever a chance comes. Their facility was very clean, but may want to consider little more detailed touches of cleaning as a greedy hope.

Each room had its own private onsen bath The parking lot for property is gravel and not paved. It made it hard for rolling luggage up from the parking to the front entrance and people who used cane or wheel chair makes it a bit challenging.

The whole experience was amazing and despite some language barriers with the staff their kindness and hospitality were clearly felt. The location was perfect, the room was spacious, and the private outdoor bath with a view of Mt Yufu was heaven. The food was great but worth noting that the meal is crafted around a Japanese palate.
