Staff members are all super friendly. Both dinner and breakfast are very delicious and of the highest standard. The room itself is fantastic and full of character, also very clean and comfortable too. Private bathhouses are also amazing.

Staff are very kind and friendly. Open air Onsen was very clean and well decorated. Even though their food was good, they served too fast. Didn't have enough time to enjoy food. Family hot spring place is quite smaller than we expected. Refrigerator in the room was so noisy and we had to full the plug out. Also some machine sounds was ringing whole day from outside.

There was no private bathroom. We paid for Breakfast and dinner were nothing special and they limited number of foods. furthermore, the lobby was deconstructing.

The dinner and the breakfast were fantastic. Carefully presented. The onsen was good. Staff were kind. Luggage storage was convenient. I wished check out was a little later like 11 instead of 10

food was great; staff was very friendly and proactive; hotel was beautiful though a bit old, is well kept; location is a bit far from station especially if weather not good; meals not available in room though there is a very spacious Japanese living room; private one was situated next to a car part which is very odd.

Big, traditional Japanese room. Our room had a private onsen - very convenient in the cold weather! For those with back problems, note that the bed is a cushion on the floor. If you have the budget - avail of the menu plan of breakfast and dinner. This had to be booked in advance. Restaurants and cafes in Yufuin open late and close early, so meals at the ryokan is a good option.

Traditional ryokan. The highlight here was the meal, both dinner and breakfast, they were extravaganza. The service for the restaurant was excellent. There were both indoor and outdoor in-room onsen pools. There were more public outdoor pools facility. We loved the traditional old style roof. The whole villa was huge with traditional sliding doors which would separate area in to various functions. Some staff could rarely speak English. The whole Fukuoka was a bit behind in English communication. The reception was then a bit slow and kick-back kind of thing. We were expecting the villa with traditional roof, but we got the modern style tile roof. It might be ok, as the whole villa was newly constructed, not the old one.

Very polite and helpful staff. They make you feel very pleasant. Nice environment and good Onsen quality. Dinner and breakfast are very delicious and full of details. Warm and comfortable room. Just a little bit far from centre and train station, but it’s worth to walk a little bit for this quiet environment.

The onsen is fascinating ! Super private, not many people. The ryukan itself has lots of nice spot for photograph. Staffs are super friendly. The location is so peaceful and walkable from the station. Worth the price!! Room is beautiful as it’s a Japanese traditional room and we love it.
