Location Restaurant Most of the facilities were closed. I can not believe that there is not even a lobby where you can have some drinks. You must spend all the night in your room. Very disappointing. Besides, beds are very old and you can feel the springs inside.

Great location, restaurants, and access to great skiing. Very accommodating with early arrival and late departure after we already checked out. Rooms are super outdated and did not match pictures. Clearly has not been updated since it was built.

Ski in and ski out hotel. Once you check in you don’t need to go anywhere else as has everything you need from restaurants to shops and rentals A bit outdated, needs a make over

Location was what we wanted — ski on and off. It felt like a large Chinese cruise ship. The evening market in the basement to the north was nicely done. We ate there and the food court often. We ventured out for a lunch and dinner nearby and it was very good. Very dated. Very crowded. There was only an expensive breakfast buffet. We didn’t have breakfast included and not sure why.

Ski slopes are right at your doorsteps. Locker facilities are ample and conveniently located. Many restaurants and meal alternatives. Hotel is very dated. Rooms are stuck in the 80s. Beds are not very comfortable as well.

Excellent location! Ski in, ski out. Unreal! Family room (4 beds - and a swing?) was helpful for our group. Free shuttle from train station was awesome! Gondola ride to the top of the mountain was fun, even for the non ski folks in our group. The restaurant at the top served a delicious (yet lukewarm chicken curry). Dark room needed updating. Very 1970s! Restaurants need more “western” and healthy selections. We had trouble finding something to eat, despite 20 restaurants on site. Bathrooms in lobby and near ski need cleaning (black mold on ceiling!). Only 4 coin laundry available for our tower - get there early to avoid “fights” over who is next.

Ski in and ski out. The property has many choices of stores, ski apparel, and dining. The onsens are great.The free hotel bus to the train station is a big plus . The beds are extremely hard (Japanese style). I wish there were more outlets in the room.

We booked the standard economic rooms because we figured that we won’t be spending a lot of time in the room anyway. But upon entering, the smell of the room is quite strong and the room is very dated. The wall paper is yellow and there was even a red (blood?) stain? At least being such a big chained hotel, it should focus on upkeeping the facility as a whole, and not just focus on the premium rooms. The economic room is not maintained well at all. When I passed by the storage room where they kept all the towels (because the door was left opened), I could see that it’s messy and the bundled towels and bath mat were just placed directly on the floor, not even on a shelf or anything. The hygiene is concerning.

Very conveniently located and it has all needed service for comfortable ski holidays- coin lockers onsen shuttle rental shops restaurants Hotel is a bit old , but prices is convenient for that

Ski-in a ski-out feature is great, facilities and restaurant in general are adequate. In winter, there seems to be no air-con, and when the room is hot, windows are opened to get the fresh air in. Also, every morning from 3am to 6am, if your room is facing the ski field, you very likely can hear the sound from the machinery working on the snow.

Absolutely beautiful winter stay. Lots of eateries and shops. Lots of snow activities to enjoy as soon as you step out of the door. Ski/snow boarding lessons, rental gear, ski lifts, sledding, snow mobile rides. Free shuttle bus to and from train station was a plus. Everything was great, especially the staff.
