I had the most pleasant stay here and I’ll definitely be coming back often. The hostel is very nice and quiet, perfect for solo travelers. The beach is very close and there’s two markets nearby, as well as a beach bar that serves food. The owner, Marina is very nice and helpful.

Extremely clean and well built Aircon works perfectly Late check in times and flexible check out times (must be out room but no problem with them guarding your luggage if you have a late flight) Communal well kept fridge and facilities such as an ice machine 11/12pm quiet is enforced respectively which makes the stay drama free but no problem with a late night smoke if quiet 3min to the beach 30 second walk to the water (port) 5 min to several beach bars Leisurely 7-10min walk to old town 10/10 Nothing, absolutely nothing... Maybe Mario has some bad jokes ... That's about it

very accommmodating, helpful, breakfast was good the beds are next to each other

Lovely staff, very welcoming. It is not close to the old town but it’s very close to the sea. Mattresses a bit thin

There was no breakfast; guests supplied their own groceries and used the kitchen facilities. I liked the ‘small operation’ aspect of the place. Marina has a good thing going with her small, dedicated staff and they seem to embrace the concept of budget travelling and accommodation, rather than operating the facility with strictly a profit motive guiding them and their decisions/methods. (I also appreciated the extra-large storage lockers in the dorm.) It was a bit hard to find, but that’s a problem with Europe in general, wherever you are or are headed. Street signage and numbering is atrocious, rather than charming. Also, I realize that several of her staff primarily make their living(s) driving taxis, but posted information about the cheaper bus service to the airport would’ve been appreciated (I had to discover that on my own). Not everyone wants to (over)pay for cabs, despite their convenience. Other than that, it was a largely positive stay and experience.

Peaceful location, great staff. A lot of people who visited return because they have a good time here, including me

The rooms were clean and well maintained with plenty of common space while also allowing for more quiet private time. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained. There is a porch and outside area to hang out or to dry things and it’s minutes from a cliff beach which is less crowded. The location also makes for a beautiful walk up to Old Town where you can stop off at beaches along the way and its nearby several supermarkets and the major bus station. The staff was beyond exceptional allowing for storage of luggage, giving suggestions and even checking in on me and helping when I missed my bus late at night to my next destination. If you want to feel like family and meet and chat with people but still have the option for a quieter private stay this is the best hostel. 10/10 recommend!!! Nothing

Owner and administrators are very very nice and helpong, our stay was warm and cozy! Many thanks to awesome hostel!!

The friendliness of the staff made it feel like home The shower was clogged up and that other guests turned the A/C off.

Air conditioning was good but only in the room. The lounges are small so people would visit. The room was large but the beds were so close you could barely stand between them. Beds are narrow but comfortable. Horrible WiFi! The only lounge is outside. There’s an upper one and a lower one. People in the lower one smokes all day long so upper and lower smells! There is a sofa & chair in the room so you can sit in there if you want? The only air conditioning is in the room. The refrigerator was discussing! Not sure when it was cleaned last? 20 minute walk to the hostel from the bus station & 40 minute walk to old town from the hostel. There are City Buses but no one at the hostel knew when they came and where to catch them. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re on a tight budget. The price is reasonable for Croatia. You can make it do for a couple of nights.

lack of privacy

Amazing stuff. Feeling that u are at home . 3 min by walk to the sea Far from city center old town 40 min by walk

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is exceptional you re just 2feet away from the beach. The kitchen is good too, you ll find everything you need there. It's cosy and chill. Sometimes you might find some people who don't leave on time, and maybe you will need to wait for your assigned locker. The owner will keep your luggage in a safe space for you until your locker is free. Another thing is your bed you need to let smt on it to let know to the workers that you re still there otherwise they'll think you left. So there's lack of organisation and communication in the staff.

It’s a bit far from the city center (45min walk), but you’re just steps away from a beautiful beach.

Perfect location to the more quiet, chill beaches that I prefer, but also a short walk to a grocery store and about an hour to old town with many beaches along the way. The staff here is THE BEST! The friendliest, kindest, most helpful staff of anywhere I have ever stayed in all my years of travels. They are the reason I came back to stay here again - and would do so again in a heartbeat.

It was amazing, if you are looking for a peaceful place it is the best. A bit far away from city centre but just half an hour walking, nice beaches between 5 and 15 mins walking.

Before I even arrived, I was made to feel welcome by a funny text conversation from the lovely Kate.. Normally, as a 6'4 tall guy, my feet poke off the end of the bed, but these ones were really long and I was very comfortable! I won't go into details but Marina helped me out big time and made my stay perfect! Thank you for that! Very grateful and I slept like a bear in hibernation, haha. There was nothing bad about the hostel. I can't fault it.
