Nothing to dislike

One of the best stays we’ve ever had! A huge thank you to Nenad, our concierge, who went above and beyond with wonderful suggestions for exploring Zagreb. We are so grateful for his help and the kindness of the entire team. We can't wait to come back!

The room was large and pleasant. There was a safe in the room which is important for me. The breakfast was excellent and there was sufficient seating for many guests. The hotel was within walking distance from the city center and several tramlines ran along the street outside or close by. Hotel wi-fi was not password protected which my employer has listed as a security liability. I am partially deaf and the receptionist became irritated over having to repeat himself - he may not have noticed my hearing aid.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to visit again ??

Everything is perfect ?

The hotel is nicely situated in the city centre, but far enough for a normal car traffic so you are not in the pedestrian area. Some 10 minutes to the main square. The hotel has a really big garage where you can park your car, although it's really expensive (20 euro per day). The hotel is big and has a small but functional spa area, although the pool was not working. The Wifi was good and the room was spacious, the only issue is that you cannot open the window so the air can get a bit stale. The breakfast was superb! There's a huge variety and you can also order additional items from the menu and the staff is really polite and fast. For this type of hotel, the spa area is a bit small and has basically only two saunas, as well as the pool, which unfortunately didn't work, and no one informed us about it beforehand. It's an OK thing that the hotel offers free transfer to their other hotel (Westin) where the guest can use their pool free of charge, which is some 10 minutes by car. Unfortunately, the pool in another hotel is not up to the Sheraton standard that we expected.

Our stay at the Sheraton Zagreb as a family of four was truly excellent from start to finish. Everything worked smoothly and effortlessly, which is exactly what you hope for when traveling with adolescents. The staff stood out in the best possible way: professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast deserves special mention. The selection was generous, fresh, and well organised, but what really made the difference was the human touch. Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The menu is thoughtfully designed, with both classic options and dishes that feel carefully prepared, not generic. The Eggs Benedict were outstanding. The Benedict with smoked ham was perfectly balanced — soft, well-poached eggs, a rich but not heavy Hollandaise, and excellent quality ham. The Benedict with smoked salmon was just as good, fresh and delicate, with flavours that worked beautifully together. Both dishes felt restaurant-quality rather than standard hotel breakfast fare. It was clear that attention was paid not only to variety, but to taste and preparation. Combined with the calm atmosphere and the care of the breakfast staff, mornings at Sheraton Zagreb are something we genuinely look forward to now. Dragica, who works in the breakfast restaurant, was exceptional. Warm, attentive, and thoughtful, she noticed details before we even had to ask. She treated our boys with such kindness and made our mornings feel calm and pleasant, not rushed. That kind of care stays with you long after you leave. The room was spacious, clean, and well prepared for a family stay. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the overall atmosphere quiet and restful. The hotel’s location also made everything easy for us. This was one of those stays where you feel genuinely taken care of. There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
