The possibility to drop my bag before the checking and after checkout. Cleanliness of the bathroom, the fully equipped kitchen. That it was stated from the start you can only pay by cash, no surprise. Closed to the city center, some markets but also some hiking paths. Some bus lines are also not far away. The host was nice, even though I didn't speak Polish. The lack of electrical socket, just one for the whole room and above a bed. The bathroom curtain, it's a mixed bathroom so opaque curtains would be welcomed. A wall mounted shelf next to each bed to put phones/ glasses/water would be appreciated.

very helpful staff I have arrived zakopane at 8am, they still let me check in for some rest after a whole night train from warsaw, really appreciated it !

1970s vibes. Close to start of hiking trails. Son good to talk with. Bed solid. Kitchen facilities limited.

It's not directly in the city centre, but it's only a 10-15 min walk away. Very quiet area, so you can sleep well after a long hike. Around the main street with its restaurants and bars it is probably a lot louder at night. The employee hardly spoke any English, but was very friendly. The ladders to the upper beds are a bit wobbly, so you have to be careful. Bathroom was not super clean, but absolutely ok.

Great family run vibes. Good distance to the centre and easy to find buses to some of the popular trails. Also close to some supermarkets which was helpful as well.

Very nice owner, and for the money it a great place.

Location was good. 15-20 minutes to town and walking distance from the trails. The owners were lovely. The rooms were basic but I found them comfortable and the ensuite was nice. Everything was always clean. There’s no lockers in the room but I didn’t have any issues. Something to note, there’s a double gas hob but no oven. Wifi didn’t work from the room I was in but I could use it from the dining room.

Good attention of Lorenzo and his Mother I ask Lorenzo about the mattres . It seems very narrow and I realised that I was sleeping over the base Hurt my back. So . In spite of the good treat . I can't recomend this hostel until they 'll add good mattresses. Zakopane is named for the nice and uncredible treking through the paths in the mountains and after a Long Journey you would have a good sleep and this didn't happen to me .

Really nice and charming family run hostel and guest house. The location is secluded and peaceful but yet still close to the centre. Good kitchen and common area and the place is very clean and comfortable, would definitely stay here again.

Very great location. Around 1.2km to city center and 1.3 km to skiing place. Price is very cheap as well. It has a shared kitchen with complete utensils. The receptionist was friendly and informative (gave us a quick background on Zakopane's mountains, recommended good restaurants, and gave us some tips on how to explore Zakopane). He even upgraded us to a room with a balcony (with great view) and a private bathroom. The heater in the room was not heating quite enough. We felt cold while sleeping. Lastly, we were not able to take a bath since the water was very cold. I think the water heater of the place was not working properly. Overall, I would still recommend the place because of its great location and cheap price plus the shared kitchen. Highly recommend for budget travelers.
