Caretta Paradise Resort & Waterpark

Standard italian coffee was not available in the hotel just from coffee machines with bad quality coffee powder. We went down to a local restaurant outside the hotel to have one.

Water park If you do not have children, it is not for you. Couples or single people skip this hotel.

I liked the food and the staff of the Buffalo restaurant. Dirty room, no hot water in the room for 3 days.

Hotel room very nice, bathroom in the hotel room very nice, water pressure very good. We got upgraded without knowing to the family room with swimming pool! Hotel is very organised in terms of entertainment, everything is planned out e.g. activities for the evening and throughout the day. The waterpark was great, sadly it closed at 17:00, could stay open longer due to it being so fun! Hotel was very modern, nice pools. Bathrooms near the bars, behind the burger house have a huge gap in between where people can literally see your business! Lots of times where the travel tour “Grecas” from Poland would announce things in Polish instead of English. This was our most annoying thing because it seemed like the hotel was more catered towards Polish people even though there are placards across the hotel with Jet2Holdidays. Food could have been better, was edible enough. I expected the drinks from the bar to be proper cocktails where the bartenders use a shaker to shake the cocktails, this wasn’t the case it was just the bartenders pouring different juices with alcohol from the pumps.

This hotel is huge complex having a lot activities for kids, that's good if you searching for place to go with kids. Good food, bit different every day. A lot place for walk. multiple bars, so you can find less crowded place and free table. If you going for calm and quiet vocation this is wrong place to go. Even if you take number with private pool you get neighborhood with kid that splash water all around and make a lot of noise with screaming. Having in mind this hotel have complex of a lot of different buildings it bit strange that there is no corner for adults only. All inclusive drinks are very average, forget if you want decent fruit juice.

It was close to Amboula beach, like 2 minutes walk or even less, reception was mostly helpful, the waterpark is small but entartaining even for grown up, for small kids I think it's heaven, the fun park with games, the fact that there was a snack bar from 10 to 17. The shared pool was a nice choice, even tho you are not allowed to swim in it after 19 pm. Depending on the neighbours you share it with, might be quite or not. Staff were nice. Room has a good hair dryer which helped me a lot, it has a fridge and a seif. Wardrobes with hangers, more shelves would have been better. , Actually, the food was ok(all inclusive quality) a lot to chose from. There were 4 restaurants, the Main and Burger House+Herbs, were you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever, Bello Gousto where you can have breakfast everyday but you have to book for dinner with at least 48 hours in advance ( Dinner is better the the other with pizza baked fresh and other italian specialties which are different than the other restaurants dinner), and the A la carte greek which, dinner only which needs to be booked in advance and one a week only; they had some different meals than the other, the chicken was nice and the eggplant salad :) the meats are usually really hard, maybe they are re-heated?All the beverages are low quality, you don't get actual milk in the coffee machine, even if you have options for cappuccino lattes, milk only, it's powder milk which they use, and many times you get just water if ot doesn't get filled up, I had to tell staff 3 times that it ran out of milk. The Bars staff were nice, made nice cocktails, but again, not much alochol and quality. What we actually had problems with, was the cleaning...when booking I asked for a quite room if possible , I have been confirmed ok, on check in ok, I confirmed it's quite. Actually, we have been given a room in block B which was right next to the bello gousto, main bar, water park and everything, there were people drinking till 23 as this was when the bar was closing, and they kept laughing and talking really loud till 1 am, so we couldn't actually get a rest. I forgot to mention there was a moudly smell in the room. So we complained, they moved us to Block D, they ve put a car to our disposal for moving our stuff, which was nice, and while we were packing the AC starting actually dripping water in the room. So we moved to the new room, but the bathroom was not clean.. :( the toilet was actually dirty, with fingernails and everything on it.. and spiders and spider webs beneath it, there was not shower gel in the recipient, I told reception, they said the cleaning ladies always check it and they will later, when we came back to the room, it was still empty so I called reception and they have sent a lady which filled it, but when I pushed the button to release the shower gel some maroon thing came up, I pressed it more times until the green shower gel came out... They come and clean everyday which means they wash the floors, make the beds and empty the bin, but that's it. They change towels every 2 days and change sheets every 3 days

We had super 10 days! Kids loved everything. The food was a bit repetitive as an AI, but was fine. Aurel in the restaurant was our favourite. The mini disco is also super We will come back! The girl in the snack bar was rude a bit...

Staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was edible. I have had worse all-inclusive buffet experiences. The direct access to the shared pool is advisable, as the other pools are too crowded and too small for the amount of guests. The offered activities for young children and teenagers are excellent. The room had an extreme smell of mould. The silicone in the shower area in the bathroom was mouldy everywhere. The inside wall of the air conditioning unit is also covered in black mould (I have taken pictures of all mould infestations). The cause of this is poor workmanship and incorrect planning, which ensures constant humidity in the room. There is a lack of care when it comes to cleaning. (Stains in the bathroom from the previous tenants. Several cobwebs in the room, dust in various places. The TV had no reception at all, and the remote control worked but was badly damaged.
