One of the warmest welcomes, in such a beautiful village. The rooms are clean spacious and simple, the family are fantastic company and Lizia‘s cooking is so good that we stayed an extra night. The beach, which is very quiet is a pearl of a find located down a cliff pass which is a ten minute walk from the property. Altogether a wonderful place, highly recommend if you want a genuine good hospitality.

Good

it was away from the tourist villages, up in the hills and 7 mins walk from the local train station. It was in, as its namesake, a green valley. nothing

It was very clean and the owner was very nice. The rooms were quite basic, but they were very clean and good for a night stay.

The breakfasts are good. We enjoyed talking to the owner. The internet was very poor to non-functional. I'm a high volume user. That was disappointing. The room was very cold when we arrived. They did not pre-heat it. It took us 24 hours to get the room to a decent temperature but felt like an almost impossible task. To make matters worse, the house policy is to turn off the heat when you leave the room. That will allow the room to get very cold (the temperature was wintry and there was a lot of rain). I left a not e asking the housekeeper to NOT turn off the heater in our absence. She didn't but she did lower the temperature by 4 degrees. So, they compromised a bit and it may have avoided enduring a cold room. The owners are good, hard-working people. They need to get a better internet service and not cut corners to save money if cutting corners leads to discomfort i.e. not pre-heating the room, turning the heat off or down in our absence. I wish them all the success in the future.
