The bed was a good size. The linen was crisp and white. The location was pretty good. The Reception check in staff Kristina and Victoria were both great to deal with. Kristina in particular who checked us in was very helpful and did a great job with checking us in, and getting us an earlier check in, which was a great help to us. She was efficient, friendly and professional in spite of it being a very busy time. Victoria was also very professional and helpful when we were checking out. Feven at Breakfast was such a lovely, warm, friendly, cheerful and helpful person, it made our breakfast experience very enjoyable every morning. She did everything she could to make us and other guests feel special. Victoria who also covered Breakfast, also did a great job making us our coffee and taking care of us. Great staff. The breakfast offering was very good. Lots of healthy and tasty options. The complete block out blinds and curtains were wonderful. The Air-conditioning was almost non existent. We were told when we checked in that hotels are not allowed to use Air-conditioning, so they use an alternative cooling method. The room controller said we could get as low as 18°, which was a joke. We would have been lucky to get 24° at the very most. So on hot nights, this was not helpful at all. They don't provide any kettle, tea or coffee or even water in the rooms. This is not an option for a hotel of this supposed standing. Tgeir excuse being kettles are a hazard!!! They advise you that tea, coffee and water are always available downstairs. What they don't tell you till you go to get a hot drink is that you have to pay for it!!!! Yes that's right. You can fill up a carafe of cold water and take it upstairs with no charge, but that's it. Any toothbrush, iron, shower cap or sewing kit you want has to be requested from Reception. Another cost cutting measure? You get an IPad in the room to control the TV, lights, curtains, blinds and AC, and you can provide feedback to them as well using the IPad. Waste of time. I provided feedback regarding having to pay for a hot drink, left 3 messages with 3 different Reception staff as well about not being contacted about my feedback. Was assured the Manager would be in touch. Still waiting!!!! Don't be fooled by the Marriott association. This is definitely No Marriott. So don't expect too much. While this hotel is nice. It's certainly by no means great or exceptional. Considering what they charge, their offering is well below what you would expect for that price range.

Location was the only saving feature NO complementary coffee for early risers. Service was rude and not accommodating Bed was very uncomfortable for two. Amenities in room were sparse - ex only one set of towels.

This hotel surprised us. We were expecting the room to be tiny and it was small but surprisingly, it was comfortable. Very central location and great sound proofing. We were there on the night of The Street Parade and didn’t hear a thing from inside our room.

Close to everything. Within walking distance to several locations Hot! The rooms were supposed to have air conditioning and it said it was on but the room was hot

This hotel is very modern design. The bed is wedged against the wall/window which made it hard for my wife to get in and out. The lobby was beautiful and very comfortable. This room was just not comfortable. We felt like we were in a university dorm room. Not great for us seniors.

Fantastic location near old town, close to many restaurants, close to boat dock tours. Super comfortable lobby area with great decor, nice music and great vibe. Nice breakfast with made to order coffee bar. Super nice and friendly staff that were welcoming and helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side but loved the blackout shades that made room completely black. Given the extreme heat wave we switched to this hotel as they advertised air conditioning. But in reality they have climate control, which means that they control the temperature of all the rooms. Inside the room, they make you believe you can lower temperature down to 16 degrees but in reality changing room temperature doesn’t matter. So the hot from made it hard to sleep. Manager offered to change room temperature but didn’t help. Some rooms hotter than others. When I complained to manager he said he couldn’t offer any concessions for hot room since we booked on booking.

The rooms were right sized and the beds were comfortable. The staff in the cafe were very kind to our daughters! We checked in and were told there was an "event for the next two nights, loud music until 11p." This was a total lie. The property is right next to a music venue, which, as far as we can tell, hosts large outdoor concerts every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until midnight. The noise is so loud it shakes the windows. It is unbearable. We dealt with this for four of our eight nights there. So (1) it wasn't an event, (2) it wasn't limited for the next two nights, and (3) it wasn't over at 11p those nights. Housekeeping was a chore. We are familiar with the citizenM model on the tablets, and the locked cadence for "full cleans." Housekeeping skipped us the day of our first full clean - did not change sheets, empty the trash, clean the floors, nothing. We called the desk, they sent someone up just to take out the trash and said we would get a full clean the next day. Returned the next afternoon to the same situation. It took three days just to get our room cleaned appropriately. In addition, we had three rooms. One room the aircon was not appropriately functioning AT ALL and continued to get hotter throughout the stay. Staff dismissed our concerns and never fixed the issue.
