Set on the car-free Uetliberg mountain, surrounded by nature and hiking paths, the award-winning UTO KULM - Top of Zurich presents a stylish design with a sauna area and unique views of the city. The hotel is only reachable by train and the ride takes 21 minutes from the Zurich Main Station. Light and creative, as well as traditional, dishes are served in the restaurant with its sun terrace. Each room features elegant design furniture made from fine natural materials and comes with a TV. The elegant sauna and steam bath area contains an aromatherapy shower with tropical rainfall, a unique ice grotto, and a sauna with panoramic views of the Zurich skyline. The sauna can be used free of charge. The S-Bahn train leaves every half hour from track 21/22 at Zurich Main Station. A 10-minute walk takes you from the end station Uetliberg to the hotel. Upon request your luggage (or guests with mobility problems) will be picked up at the Uetliberg station.

Views were great. Staff were great. Rooms clean. After day 1, the incline walk to the hotel was tedious. You have to pay for the train / train pass to get here. No passes or discounts are given.

The view only The building has a really stinky smell in the corridors , the hotel charged my card 100 CHF just five minutes after i left WITHOUT my authorization and they only recognized that it was by mistake when we call them and then they refunded ( refund was less than the amount they took and when we complained they say Call your bank !!!!!! ) , till now my refund has not been received and it is me who has to follow up for there mistake .

Great view of Zurich. Nice hotel Unaware until booked how hard to get to hotel even though I understood no-car at hotel. If arriving by car, having to walk to/from train 7-10 minutes uphill in rocks/dirt , no night lights in hot weather. But we could walk on street 10-13 minutes but there are no signs, no telephone signal, thus no Google/apple maps limited directions, limited lights. Horrible/miserable time. Worse part of trip. The walk from train to hotel 7-8 minutes was paved with lights. Not too bad

I liked everything about the location. We were provided everything we would need in a holiday, from breakfast meals to grandiose views. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly too! Nothing wrong in particular

Location Signs are confusing and not in English Staff are argumentative and after 20min uphill walk, argue about the massive difference between the advertised room photos and the actual room views. At the end of the day you want to stay in the place due to nice location and views rather than a wall 50cm from your window. They offered to upgrade the room at the cost and finally changes the room after 1.5hr.

So amazing you take a train from central Zurich which was super easy and they’ll meet u to pickup the luggage you can walk the easy path up to the hotel. Rooms clean and comfy the food was nice and views unbeatable. Great service would stay again It wasn’t super clear at first about reaching the hotel but the reception was easy to communicate with
