Reviews

Staff was unfriendly, the room dirty and bad smell.
-
If we had to criticize something it would be the fact that the buildings could use a fresh coat of paint.
-
I would stay there again
-
Breakfast could be improved with local fresh fruits, juices and Italian coffee not from a self service machine.
-
breakfast was continental, it was ok. Hot food was cold !! Hotel restaurant overpriced, food wasn't to our taste

We were only there for one night, but the place was beautiful. Sitting by the pool looking at the sea was peaceful. Food and service were great, and we were able to easily get a late checkout, which helped our travel day immensely. The staff were all very helpful.
-
Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the beach, even though the hotel was located very close to the sea.
-
Tv not having enough english channels

Nice location on the water. Has parking if you can get it. Access to the sea was denied and not mentioned at time of booking that it was going to be a construction zone. For Sicily the food was sub par and way more expensive than 100s of better restaurants in the Catania area. 80% of all meats served are listed as either bought frozen or flash frozen on site. And you could tell. Pool was said to open Friday and was but the next day it was drained more than halfway down and un-useable. We had Lufthansa change our flight due to problems beyond our control and had to leave a day early. Hotel didn’t care nor give us a comp or refund for the day we weren’t using. The first two girls at the front desk became angry as more questions were asked. Stay away from this titanic relic.

WiFi is too weak

Gorgeous views, clean accommodations, amenities, they even let us check in early, we will be back! Sad the cyclone damaged things, they were still working on getting things fixed back up, hope to be back in the future with full amenities

Breakfast room was clean, but dated from 70's? Food was good variety Eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, yogurt and fruit, sweet pastries coffee, tea, juices, bottled waters Friendly staff and nice sunny room with lots of windows. The hotel is on the water but no beach. A pool that is closed for the winter season. Hotel room was renovated with updated furniture, painted and new floors. King bed, couch, comfy chair, table and chair large dresser, Mirrors on closets and tv Tub and shower comfy towels and sheets and good pillows Didn't like same breakfast everyday....eggs were not HOT, Hotel pool was closed out side our hotel window...BIG orange fence around it. Wish no fence so I could get a beautiful sunrise each morning.

The property was amazing! It was clean that was in a great location. It was better than I could’ve ever imagined. Nothing.

Nice kind staff , beautiful landscape , very relaxing

We chose this accommodation as we wanted a quiet location convenient to the airport on our last night in Sicily. The pool area and pool bar provided a beautiful and relaxing setting . Did not partake in the breakfast but ate at a very good restaurant on the water a short walk away. Clean and comfortable and spacious rooms but the décor is a bit dated. Parking lot was free but is actually a short walk from accommodation. Parking lot entrance was a little difficult to find

The room was big and had a nice view of the pool and the ocean. The breakfast was great. This is a great option if you would like to relax and stay away from the business of downtown Catania. There are a few eating options within walking distance, which are reachable through a narrow side street.

It is situated near the sea and not far from the Catania and airport. Personnel are very friendly and healthful It’s rather old. Very strong soundproofing from other rooms and corridors. The pillows are not comfortable for me. Coffee and breakfast itself are not good.

View and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Lived the room with corner view and comfy bed—I have lower back issues.

Potentially awesome with the sea view they have from the pool area. I booked a sea view room and the sea was just barely visible on a very far corner from the window. The room is sold as triple room, but is very small. The sofa-bed was terribly uncomfortable, but the main mattress wasn’t much better. Literally just the space for the two beds and walk between them. We paid 240 euros for one night, checking in at 5pm. We returned to our room at 10pm, with a big party going and super loud music that despite windows closed and tick curtains, we could hear as if it was playing in the next room. I don’t get how you can allow this events in a hotel when there is no proper sound insulation. Furthermore, they wanted an extra 100 euros for late checkout (3pm). The hotel could be very nice, but is old and would need some refurbishment. Breakfast was quite weird, no table service and coffee only from a typical machine you can find in a petrol station in the uk, which means really bad coffee. Not having real espresso in such hotel, in sicily, should be almost illegal. Additionally, poor choice of options, plenty of pastries, with too many healthier options.
