everything was perfect the room is perfect, clean spacious, AC, tv, awesome staff, very kind and helpful. absolutely nothing

The air conditioning did not work well, which is all we wanted after a long day visiting the Taj Mahal in 100 F degree weather. You can’t really avoid this as there is a room card that cuts the power when you are out so not even a fan can stay on .. and your room will feel like a Sauna when you arrive back.

Excellent location, amicable staff Too much lighting like a discotheque

The location, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, etc. all aspects of the stay were amazing for my family. We were a group of 18 and my whole family loved Aman Homestay. Would recommend to anyone who would like to stay near the Taj for a comfortable, affordable and family friendly stay. We also wanted to arrange a cake a balloons as a surprise for my aunt’s birthday, and the staff was so helpful in making this a reality!

The hotel was very clean, and the rooftop terrace offers a distant view toward the Taj Mahal area. Leena, the manager, was always professional, responsive, polite, and genuinely tried to help when problems arose. We booked this hotel because it looked quirky and charming online, but in reality the design felt visually overwhelming rather than boutique. There was an overload of colors, patterns, decorative styles, neon lights, and mismatched furniture everywhere. Taste is subjective, of course, but for us it crossed the line from eclectic into exhausting. The food was disappointing. The pancakes appeared to be frozen ready-made products with very little flavor, and the mango lassi looked and tasted unpleasant, separating after a short while into watery liquid and yogurt. Another disappointment was discovering that meals are not actually served on the rooftop terrace, but in an indoor dining room. One of the reasons we booked this place was the idea of enjoying dinner on the terrace in the evening atmosphere, so this was frustrating. The overall atmosphere also felt surprisingly restrictive for something calling itself a “homestay.” There were signs stating that guests were not allowed to bring outside food. We were also never informed that the rooftop terrace closes at 10 p.m. Instead, while we were quietly sitting there having a beer, staff members silently started switching off the lights around us without communicating anything. Only afterward, in an apology message from the manager, were we informed about the terrace closing time. A simple polite explanation at the time would have avoided the entire uncomfortable situation. Overall, despite the cleanliness and the efforts of the manager, the experience felt stressful and awkward rather than warm and welcoming.

The best Homestay in all of India by far. That is why we returned and that’s why we extended our stay with this family. I didn’t like that we did not stay longer.

The dinner at the Hotel was inexpensive and very delicious. The staff was also very elcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. The location of the hotel is very ideal for those wanting to visit the Taj Mahal. We were a group of women traveling around Agra and felt safe our entire stay at the Hotel. Definitely recommend this stay. Nothing, everything met our expectations.

Great stay at Aman Homestay Boutique Hotel. Excellent location very close to the Taj Mahal, making visits easy and convenient. Warm, family-style atmosphere, very clean rooms, and friendly staff. Great value for money. Highly recommended! All was very good

Location,walk to Taj Mahal, comfortable,lots of different places to sit and relax,nice staff,roof terrace . Breakfast menu good though was an extra cost,coffee was best we have had in India Evening meal a little dull for the price,we are happy to eat vegetarian and there was plenty of it though.

The family that runs this hotel is very kind and helpful. Great experience all the way through. The restaurant and family style dinner was delicious! Great outdoor spaces w view of Taj. Room was very clean! Lots of great attention to detail here.

Communal dinner was great food and great fun with other guests. Location really good for Taj Mahal and lots of local restaurants. Rooftop is nice for view of Taj and relaxing with a beer.

They overcharged for laundry service's 1500 rupees is an absurd price

This place is the best we have had since we got to Indian 3 weeks ago, the own (mum) cooks gorgeous vegetarian meals, and the also sell beer and Indian wine which is really good, this really is a gem of a place, and if I come back it will be to here 10/10

Loved Ranjana, Aman and Babloo! Our stay was wonderful. We had Babloo drive us the entire time and he was fantastic, helpful and an amazing driver in what can be overwhelming roadways! We enjoyed dinner at the Homestay, cooked by Ranjana which was a wonderful experience. We got to share conversation and break bread with other guests. What more could you want? Aman was very helpful as well, sending us links to tickets in advance and organizing transport.

Family run hotel with extremely kind and welcoming staff, the hotel was beautiful spacious. The home cooked dinner and breakfast was extremely tasty. From the roof you can see the amazing views of the Taj. Couldn’t recommend enough. Nothing

The staff was extra helpful. We were a group of seven, and they easily handled all our questions. They helped set up multiple meals and vehicles. The towels were a bit rough

Superb location, walking distance from Taj. Comfortable room and modern facilities. TV includes Netflix. Great modern facilities and nice design. Issues that arose were quickly taken care of. Comfy terrace on each floor. The hotel is not on the road, and so is mostly isolated from the noise. There were minor issues - missing AC remote and audio problem with the TV. In both cases the staff quickly solved them with minimal fuss. The menu at the local cafe is limited and the prices are high - especially compared to the competition around the hotel.
