I had a wonderful stay at Retreat hotel in Agra. The property is definitely the clean and well maintained swimming pool. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is location, it's is within walking distance from the Tajmahal. Overall, Retreat hotel offers great comfort , excellent service and prime location.

The door was weird. When I returned from sightseeing I noticed that the door was open and electronic lock wasn’t working afterwards. The staff indicated that there must have been a technical issue. All of my belongings were there. However, the hotel should ensure that these are checked and repaired when a room is assigned, as it could happen any time during the day and serious safety concern, especially to female travelers.

Nothing i liked about the property First of all the cost of 5k per night isn’t justifying to the facilities they had at the hotel. According to me, the price is worth 2k. The room door entry didn’t work and it’s all broken. Cleanliness isn’t that great and would require more sanitisation. Staffs have no clue on customer experience.

The rooms were nice and spacious and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Their luggage storage for us was also very useful. The breakfast was very poor as the food variety was very limited. There was a lack of culturally different food like European food or even cereal. As far as I remember nothing was labelled either, which would’ve been a major issue if I was vegetarian. There was also a lack drink options.

The location was great, not too busy on the streets and metro nearby. The room and bathroom was very clean. Spots nearby for food which were foriegner friendly. Internet wasnt great and the hot water wasnt very consitent.

Prompt check in service. Assistance with baggage. Had to request hot water. Indian standard cleanliness. Curdled milk for coffee

cockroaches on the breakfast buffet .so dinner and breakfast paid included in tariff were lost of money . preferred to fast than eat with the cockroaches . poters don't leave you alone while you don't give them tips. if its coins they will say u not is not enough . at 02.00 wedding outside -so forget about sleeping
