The rooftop with the pool was excellent with an amazing view towards the Taj Mahal, and in the evening there is a special activity there: a bar and grill which was amazing.

the rooms were nice....nice view on the Taj Mahal although the metro line runs right in front the food at the Lattice restaurant could have been better at dinner

location was good The rules were different for indians and foreigners. unfortunately all rules were broken for foreigner tourists. The staff blatantly was partial and had no resolution.

Nice and comfortable stay Having worked for Accor property in past and stay and world across the world if I compare then it was a decent experience. Few things that I face I want to bring it in notice . It’s was a two night stay with my wife , I stay in 318 , room was comfortable and size of the room was good . I thank front office team to check in me early and making everything comfortable for me and my wife . Breakfast on the same day was great ? taste and service was good I will give 9/10 . 90% of the meal we eat was in the hotel room service . Room service was a great experience, order timing , follow up , checking feedback it was 10/10 . Great service and great team too. Breakfast on day 2 and day 3 was unexpected I was thinking to have the same experience as day 1 , but it lacks idli was hard , paratha was dry , fruits were missing , coffee was asked on the first day but later never been asked , seating the guest and informing about the breakfast was missing from the hostess as it was not even busy either any of the day . Being food and beverage manager from last 5 years and knowing what a customer can think , we need consistency in service and quality of our products, basic knowledge of menu and local food was missing in service staff . Being 5 star hotel , serving a canned orange juice and watermelon juice was unacceptable . Even I order watermelon juice through room service it was not fresh . Sky grill restaurant I made a booking earlier I reach there 8:30pm it was empty. Might be awareness about the restaurant with guest was lacking that why they are going outside to eat or choosing other places . It was windy but nice weather . If no guest doesn’t mean you will start to close the restaurant, I see few staff taking out cushion and putting table aside even it’s not raining . We had a spring roll and hot and sour soup both were average . That why we decided to go back to room service and order food in the room . Our stay at Grand Mercure Agra was truly memorable from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and excellent service. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were thoughtfully arranged and every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. After long days of sightseeing, it was always a pleasure to return to such a relaxing and welcoming room. What truly made our experience special, however, was the outstanding service provided by the staff. Every team member was warm, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we felt at home. A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. Satish (the chef) whose passion and dedication were evident in every meal. The food was consistently delicious and his personal touch made dining a delightful experience. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Naveen and Mr. Saleindra for their exceptional hospitality, professionalism and genuine care. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to assist at every opportunity left a lasting impression on us. Thank you.

I traveled here with my wife, mother and my two daughters. Our original booking was with Double Tree by Hilton Agra but due to swimming maintenance going on we changed our booking to Grand Mercure. This hotel lacks a 5 star service. Check in took slightly long but was smooth. Rooms seemed a little dated. Dining area is small so the selection of foods is limited. They have a small section in the center for desserts which is usually empty. I asked one of the chefs why this was and he asked me what id like and by my surprise he served me an amazing chocolate cake that wasn't in the desserts area. The staff continuously approach you which is annoying - its like they are trying so hard. On a few occasions our orders were forgotten. The swimming pool on the roof top is very small, however the seating area is spacious over looking the Taj Mahal at an distance where you are able to buy various food items and alcoholic and soft drinks. Its a standard hotel, unfortunately i wouldn't come back here - i would most probably try the Trident near by.
