Lovely premise. Nicely laid out with a beautiful view After check out, we were not able to leave our luggage in a secure area. They told us we needed to extend our room for 370 pesos / £12 despite having no other guests and plenty of empty rooms that could have been used for this purpose. We therefore had to leave with our big backpacks and subsequently could not visit the cultural museum or any art galleries. This hotel ruined our Ajijic visit with this decision. On top of this, no hot water, ceiling fan did not work but we would have overlooked this if they were accommodating.

The room and the privacy. When we arrived the personal treated us into a really bad way and we can't pay with card because their terminal doesn't work.

The hotel has very overall nice facilities right on the waterfront. The bad review I'm giving it is due to the fact that the shower in the bathroom didn't work. It had no pressure at all and the water was tepid or lukewarm at best. In January, Ajijic was kind of chili in the morning. We had planned an early rise to continue our trip, onwards with our drive through Jalisco state and to Leon, Gto. So we had to forgo our planned morning shower. The manager on duty assured us that we just needed to let the water "heat up" and to not mind the waste, it would all go to a recycling facility. But it was useless. No water pressure and no warm water. Definitely not what I paid for. We could have used a working shower! nice enough staff. couldn't get the shower in our bathroom to work
