Common area with deck chairs and pool, next to the bar, was fantastic. Room was beautiful. Plastic mattress protector is hot and uncomfortable... bathroom not closed off, so lacks privacy.

Beautiful view to the lake. Super clean Rooms There is construction noise early every morning. It is annoying to go rest and being woken up by all the construction noise. This resort does not have ac or mini split a/c. It only has a fan. If you open the patio doors the breeze is wonderful at night yet, you are startled by the construction noise early morning. So, if you prefer refrigerated a/c make sure you ask the hotels around this area if they have it.

The garden and view at the restaurant pool area is great. Staff at the restaurant are great. The bathroom facilities in the rooms are quite good. The hotel personnel at arrival (front desk) and leaving are young ladies that have absolutely no idea of the hospitality industry. Not even a Hello or welcome. No indications of anything about the premises, the services or when you leave even a good bye. No A/C in the rooms, yes Chapala has great weather but it also gets hot.
