Merry Acres Inn

Very comfortable rooms.

It is nice but dated. We had to switch rooms due to the plumbing issues.

I just needed a place to stay and get some good sleep, and traveling late from SE Georgia 3.5 hrs to Albany and arriving very late. Jason was very friendly and accommodating and made me feel welcome again, as I got coffee, Sunny D and a granola bar for a casual Continental Breakfast. They have cereal, danishes, and waffle maker as well, but no eggs or sausage. Need more protein products aside from milk, yet selections still adequate for a light breakfast. Made arrangements with work to stay and Expedia app on the road helped immensely. What I like is that they're separate building units, and not all compacted together. Makes it more unique compared to other motels. The room was nice and spacey with vinyl flooring. No carpets. Bed and shower were great. Water gets warm very quickly in stall. AC was set at a nice 72 degrees and pillows were comfy. Would recommend this place if ever in the Albany area. Only 5 minutes from downtown.

Room was clean. Staff very friendly. Pool was great. Bartender, bar and food onsite was great.

We stayed for 1 night and was looking forward to the stay. We were given a room on the side of the building which wasn't the best of views. If you book, I recommend asking for a room with a view of the pool if stuff like that matters to you. The front desk staff was very sweet as we checked in very late and she was helpful.

No soap caddy in the shower. Loud a/c and inconsistent air flow in the room.

The staff were very helpful and actually went out of their way to help me. The room was very clean and looks like it has been freshly renovated as well.

Good place to stay , breakfast could be more

Room was not clean. Staff was very kind, but even after asking for a full clean, my socks turned black from dirt on the floors. Bathroom white floor towels also turned black underneath. Room is modernized. Bed was comfortable.

Good stay, nice staff, easy in and out. Construction is a pain.

Rooms are remodeled but the cleaning stuff dont clean as well i had to changed rooms 3 times 1st room wasn’t clean second room dirty linen and the air conditioner didn’t work staff was very accommodating in moving us bar was great drinks were made to perfection. Cant go wrong with a smoked old fashioned. Their housekeeping staff has got to get better

We had a wonderful second stay at the charming Merry Acres Inn. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, outdoor pool, and spending time in the pub. The staff was friendly and professional. Although the Inn is in the process of being renovated, it didn't impact our stay. We loved seeing the baby chicks living on the grounds. This is our preferred place to stay when visiting family in Albany.

Check in staff very nice and helpful, pub very good, unfortunately despite check out time 11am there were two people looking in window at 9am wanting to get in to clean room, very odd.

Staff was great room clean nice little pool breakfast was good would stay again bonus was the little family of wild chickens we saw

Price and the location

Is is a very quaint motel and the ambiance goes well with the area. no comment

The room had dog hair left in the room in some places. The steps to enter the apartment carpet need to be changed or cleaned. Overall the apartment was okay and spacious. I would stay again. The location was great and staff was nice.
