Location Parking Breakfast Noisy in a morning when heating coming on Sheets felt a little damp and beds very uncomfortable

Clean , friendly and good value. As advertised. Conference type accomodation. Great for groups and good for individuals Because 2 lounges booked for groups there was not as much social interaction as expected. Telling everyone that breakfast was 8 30 rather than between the hours of created a mass scramble that staff struggled to cope with

The hotel is situated in extensive grounds with many facilities. I was only here for one day and could only find a few, but a longer stay would be beneficial. My room was spacious, the bed comfy, and the lack of a TV became a blessing. The highlight of the 1 day stay was the breakfast. Limited in choice but really well cooked. Particular mention should go to the bacon. Not only great tasting but actually crispy, something rarely seen these days. All in all, a great traditional hotel that has seen little modernisation, and is all the better for it. Not a thing

The bin collection was quite early and noisy - the truck pulled up outside the room

No TV Not a very modern style of rooms Noise by neighbour coughing

It was quiet with a wonderful view. I suppose the decor looked a lot like a nursing home. Quite a contrast with the grounds, which was quite lovely!
