Location and the overall facilities are great, so are the smiling staff! The food could be better. Some days dinner quality was not high but some days it was good.

We got two twin beds instead of a queen so it was a little uncomfortable

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Food options, pool, available catering and pool use on checkout day Limited facilities for rainy days (e.g., playground is muddy, kids room outside of main building), cleanliness, superior rooms are noisy at night due to parties at the restaurant

The location and the staff The facilities since you can here all the noises, even when someone is peeing in the upper room. The bathroom doesn't feel private at all.

We enjoyed the time we spent at the Hotel. You don't need to leave the property as you can find everything there and the beach, sea, food... everything was great. Staff is super friendly and always reachable. They clean the rooms every day and everyone was smiling.

The filter in the air conditioning unit inside was relatively clean in our room, which was a nice surprise (someone took care of it at the least at the start of the summer). The food options for the breakfast and dinner were rich, a different menu but some of the dishes repeated themselves from day to day. The "snacks" needs to be rethought. The staff were generally nice. The "normal" beds were large and comfy - not the 2nd additional small bed that was available in the room. The area is close to the beach (also direct access to one part of the beach), and there are amenities in walkable distance. There are several parking areas to the unit (both in front and in the back). The bathroom was clogged and not properly cleaned (or by design clogs) and you have water spilling in the room due to the construction. The additional beds might have bedbugs, in two rooms the small children that stayed on them had multiple bug bites on their legs. The area next to the swimming pools is organized for small night activities such as singing nights, karaoke, etc. Generally they end up at 11 pm. The rooms near the swimming pool, on the side with a view to them, experience the sound the most. The "snacks" option (the times when the snacks bar was open) was relatively simple and bland, would not recommend (all days the same pizza and sandwich). Most of the non-alcoholic drinks were obtained exclusively from several "drink dispensers" which had 3 options (apple, multi-juice, water, or similar). The bar was understaffed and the bar options (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) were limited.

Perfect location, great food, clean rooms and nice staff. It was the perfect place to stay for our first vacation with a baby. Everything was near, we enjoyed both the pools and the sea and you can enjoy a nice view from each corner.

Variety of food , close to beach I am currently staying at Alykanas Beach Grand Hotel, and I feel compelled to urgently warn others due to serious health and safety issues that have made my stay unacceptable. The most pressing problem is a bee infestation throughout the hotel, especially in the dining areas. It is nearly impossible to eat indoors or outdoors without being swarmed by bees, which poses a significant health risk—particularly for guests with allergies. Despite raising this concern with hotel management, the issue remains unresolved. The hotel owner, who was present on Sunday, 7 September, refused to issue a refund and instead blamed guests for leaving the dining room doors open. However, the doors are routinely kept open by staff, and the outdoor bee population is clearly uncontrolled. Nearby establishments have managed to address this problem effectively, which suggests negligence on the part of this hotel. In addition to the bee infestation, the rooms have a persistent sewage-like odor coming from the bathrooms due to an outdated plumbing system. Although the rooms are cleaned daily, the foul smell remains. On top of this, we were disturbed by a strong, unpleasant stench in the evenings and early Sunday morning caused by a sewage truck parked behind the building and the pervasive smell of old cooking oil from the dining area. This odor permeates the rooms, especially if windows are open. Cleanliness is another major concern. Staff consistently leave partially dirty utensils in the clean baskets at the buffet area. I have had to sift through several dirty forks just to find clean ones, which is unacceptable. Adding to the disappointment, on our first visit to the snack bar, the burgers were undercooked and of questionable quality, and drinks were either watered down or excessively sweet. There was no fresh juice, only cheap sugary drinks and alcohol. Water is the only safe beverage available on this all-inclusive stay.

The hotel offered so many varieties of food. The ingredients tasted fresh. The dishes were well-prepared to the highest quality. Food service is outstanding with a diverse menu. There were many options for kids of all ages. The Restaurant bar offered wide varities of drinks from classic cocktails to draft beers and fine wines. The staff was very pleasant and offered super quick service. Spacious room with sea view & balcony Front office staff need to improve their services. Rooms were not provided with body lotion.

Comfortable rooms, located on the beach, all inclusive option is affordable, clean rooms and area, staff is quietly handling everything in the background for the guests Small pool, crowded, the front desk staff gave us misleading information about the boat trip we booked through them

The quality of the drinks could be improved.

We had an excelent experience during our stay here. We would definitely come back! Greek hospitality is top.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

Food was plenty and good, especially the grilled lamb. No ventilation in bathrooms. Some rooms have bathrooms with a small window to the hotel's corridor. But this was really our only inconvenience.

Close to the village, shallow water for the kid Disclaimer: we never go for all-inclusive option this was an exception because of the child. Food in general, was too salty, or way too sweet, majority of the desserts were heavy on cream. Breakfast was the worst of all places I've been in Greece. I expected local fruits and vegetables full of texture and flavor. Breakfast: No veggies (except tomatoes). Dried out omelettes, fried egg or scrambled eggs you may as well eat bark from the tree. Sausages were a mass production type of stuff, salty, dry and hard. There was a pretty good choice of cereals if one opted for such a breakfast. Lunch and dinner were often similar in choice and variety of meats, fish and some time seafood. All of it is way too salty, even kids food like Bolognese. Room: I asked for an upgrade with a sea view I was told that the room I got is great... I did not engage in further conversation, I expected a professional approach clearly it was not. So the room was somewhat weird with one washbasin and mirror at the entrance and the other washbasin in the bathroom (no mirror though), bathroom door was too short so anybody in the room could see you when you were sitting and doing your "business". Instead of getting the double bed we got a twin that was constantly separating during the night. There was a sea view... but the room was beside the kitchen so you had to keep your door closed unless you want to listen to the whirring noises of air conditioning units outside. During the evening we had issues with putting the child to bed as the evening performance was on till 22:00 or 23:00. Beds were not comfy, ok but nothing more Swimming pool: not a swimming pool family, sea is what we like. One day we tried but there are not enough sun beds to accommodate all guests so in the peak of the season this must be really bad. Swimming pool itself is ok. Beach: is very short, and there are no sun beds, there is a beach house right beside the hotel but you have to pay for it every day.

It felt dirty. My shower had a pile of soap on the ledge and was moldy at the bottom. The tables and chairs in the restaurant and pool didn’t seem like they were wiped down. I usually had to wipe them down myself before using them. WiFi didn’t work in my room.

Very nice location It is an all inclusive hotel , and like most of the hotel of this typology the food is not always excellent
