Valais Hotel

The hotel is situated on the alykanas beach with good facilities. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, from the reception team, the bar team and the management who were all very friendly and helpful. There was nothing not to like about Valais.

The location was great. Staff were very friendly. My shower head was broken leaving the bathroom very wet. It was difficult to adjust the a/c to a comfortable temperature.

Location was great, being right on the beach. Restaurant was superb with amazing food and staff. Room was clean, the bed was comfortable. There was nothing to not like.

Web site says continental breakfast for all guests but was told it was not so shouldn't be advertised as so I'm Rather expensive compared to places nearby

Small, friendly, wonderful location. The food and drink offer is very good and the service excellent. The swimming pool is great - a proper swimming pool that you can actually swim in rather than an ornamental pond! There is a music venue just down the road that blasts out very loud music until about midnight 4 days per week. Fine if you want to go and see their show but disturbing if you want to enjoy a quiet evening in the hotel or sleep before midnight.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, as well as the facilities. However, what made out stay an unforgettable one was the staff and the management team, they were always ready to help in any posible way, they made you feel like family. Personally I would like to thank katerina george julie wayne , zorranna ,eleni and Valeria. Apologies if ai miss someone, the entire team is terrific liked everything

Had a great stay , started with a nice warm welcome and shown to our room. Our room was spotless on arrival and kept spotless throughout our stay with cleaning every day , fresh towels and sheets every other day. ALL staff were happy , friendly and pleased too help in anyway with a smile . Great system in place to order food and drink around the pool on the beach and in the restaurant . Was our first visit to a Greek island and loved it ! The hotel had a really nice chilled relaxed feeling to it , we will be back as soon as possible and thank you for a great stay. Nothing

The property was comfortable but dated. There was a strong smell from the bathroom toilet on a regular basis when you entered the room.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 days. The location of the hotel right by the sea is good enough + the area is green and the smell of conifers is wonderful. Clean pool which is included in the price. Large + there is a great team both in the hotel and in the restaurant. Room service and administration is excellent. In general, we liked the hotel and felt at home. But I want to address the managers First of all, it is a stale air conditioner that has an unpleasant odor when it works, it is installed in a bad place immediately opposite the bed, which creates inconvenience in its use. And when you turn on it down, it then switches back to you automatically. The bathroom is too small, outdated, and with very little pressure in the shower. It could use a little reconstruction The restaurant is located on site and has excellent access directly to the beach. We visited many places in this town, unfortunately this restaurant has the worst food and the highest prices. Having such a great place and such a great team here, you can make such an unsurpassed place that the line will be standing there. And we even ordered an egg for breakfast and it was overcooked. The chicken giros was not very tasty either. Although we had a 10% discount there, of us ate in other places where it was much tastier. You have a lot of regular customers, and if you improve the conditions for them, they will be very grateful. And change the kitchen. You have a very nice place. I work in this field, so I know what a great place you can make there.

Hotel is right on the beach which is excellent Short walk to get to the main street in the evening Rooms are spacious and clean Beds were very comfy Air con and safety deposit box were free of charge which was an added bonus Reception staff and maid were very friendly and helpful... Nice to get a hello in the morning and evening ☺️ Food and drinks in the bar/restaurant were expensive and not as nice as nearby eateries (we ate once for breakfast then decided to eat out for remaining days) Fridge in the room is very small, fit only 2/3 bottles of water Pool is deep and has an extended side which makes it difficult for young children to climb out or jump in Despite being hotel guests we still had to pay for Valais sun loungers on the beach
