The staff is nice, the room is clean The distance from the gate

Convenient location, baggage storage was a plus
-
small room, not great facility. toilet design was very weird. and so old. does feel very comfortable.
-
The location is central to Alishan park. The breakfast was at a restaurant aways from the property and was quite good. The room that we had was very dated. The hotel is in major need of renovation.
-
The room was clean, and comfortable. Easy walking distance of the train station. On-site parking was accessible, which saved a lot of time. The room decor is quite dated. Breakfast is off-site (need to walk to a nearby restaurant).

Room is clean and spacious. It is good to stay inside the Alishan park, instead of taking daytrip from Tainan or Taichung. They alao sell 300NTD sunrise watching trip. 4th It's a bit noisy facing the front as many guests from the next door hotel likes to gather and talked loudly. It didn't bother me much. Same for the pipes as we hear well the flushing and the shower. Again, it could be a common thing due to local construction standard. There is no elevator so you should request ground floor if you don't want to climb stairs. The bathroom is wrongly sloped so water pooled at toilet floor when take shower and does't drain well.
-
We stayed two nights, so the free breakfasts were at two different restaurants. Both were traditional breakfasts, quite bland. Other restaurants in the area were the same; we didn't enjoy the food in Alishan.
-
Breakfast option, room size vis-a-vis cost of the room, overall the hotel was not well maintained.
-
Good location Rooms are outdated, mold in the bathroom ceiling, cannot take a shower without getting the whole bathroom wet as there was no shower curtain or doors, sheets are old and raggedy, carpet is noticeably worn and old.
-
Small basic lodging in a very popular destination. Rooms are small clean with basic facilities. None
-
The hotel is at a convenient location as it is inside the Alishan park. The bed was comfy, but staying at a lower level means outside noises can be heard.
-
The room was smaller than what I was expected Stair way

It’s a great location
-
The hotel was right inside the park and we were able to walk to the trails and to the train.
-
Convenient staircase to the main Alishan area Spacious and clean room When it became cold, staff turned on building's HVAC Heater for shower was quite weak and at best produced lukewarm water Breakfast is outsourced via coupon to small cafe with minimal choice Non-existent wifi (1-2 mb/s)

Great location, Convenient, close to train station, shuttle station, restaurant. Additional service provided with a fee for sunset, stargazing and sunrise tours. Extremely small room, barely have room to move around. Facility a little below average. I don’t have experience with other hotels in the area.

I loved the location of the hotel. It is so close to trails and stores in the park. The staff are kind and very helpful. They gave us information on a sunrise tour they do of Jade Mountain which we signed up for. n/a

They have water (hot) for drinking tea or if you bring instant coffee. Location is good. Comfortable for what you need for a night or two, no refrigerator so just buy food at 7/11. Housekeeping didn't wash cups. Walls are a little thin but I had earplugs. They only turn heat on when it is very cold but the blankets are thick. Coffee is sold only later in the morning and the included breakfast is too late for everyone going to sunrise.

The hotel is close to other hotels, a food area with some restaurants (and a 7/11). The hotel room was well kept and had a view. The hotel provided basic amenities required for a short stay including shower gels, shampoo, slippers, water etc. The staff was kind and as soon as I checked in, they explained where the food would be served for breakfast (at a nearby local restaurant) and they explained where to buy the sunrise tickets for the train by mapping everything on a map. The breakfast provided was okay, not to my liking due to some local dishes but others might like. From the hotel you can easily hike to the famous Alishan trails (sister pond trails, 3 generation trees or temple trails etc). The hotel provides the flexibility of storing the luggage in case of early check in or late check out. Overall I highly recommend.

The hotel is old and the room where I stayed is very small and dark. I paid the hotel with my US card when I checked out on Feb.4th, 2026. However, my Canadian credit card has also been charged with the same amount of money for several days (not been refunded until today Feb.9, 2026).
