Hotel Sporting Club is an absolute gem in Sicily. The location is great just 20 minutes by car from Palermo and 40 minutes to Cefalù. Welcomed from the moment we arrived by Fabio who is very kind and helpful receptionist. Mariano was one of the staff who took really good care of everything we asked. The hotel has its own private beach, also offers an outdoor pool. From sea-view balcony we could watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise on the Mediterranean Sea. Sitting at the restaurant balcony for breakfast table, we watch the sea stretch into an endless, shimmering expanse of deep indigo while we listened to the relaxing music played by a stylish pianist lady . One night we went to the bar and one night to the restaurant, we could see the dark, glistening water stretches into the horizon, catching the silver reflection of the moon. Bar lights twinkle overhead, casting a cozy glow over our table while we enjoyed the live music too. The whole vibe is calm and caring. the hotel combined comfortable and stylish elements. It feels like a quiet retreat where every detail was made to help guests relax. I love travelling so I have gone to a lot of 4- and 5-star hotels, but Hotel Sporting Club felt like a dream. I highly recommend Hotel Sporting Club to anyone visiting Sicily. Nothing

bedroom was very cold , loud music playing till 12.30am night ,hotel allows dog to stay , so you can hear them barking ,the shower does not have a door to close , so water goes every where , which is dangerous you can slip.

Upon walking into the hotel I was amazed. It is very clean, the view is great and it was over all very nice to look at. The free breakfast was good. The pool, the day beds and the hammocks are also very nice. They are very strict for check in. Don't show up 20 mins early because they will not check you in. Also, they don't allow outside food but their restaurants aren't open all day. Their lunch is from 1-3/4 and then they don't open their dinner until 7 and there is absolutely nothing around. No restaurants or cafes. Basically, if you or your kids get hungry, you're out of luck. I also didn't like how its on its own 1 way street. Its fine if you are coming into the hotel but in order to leave (if youre heading towards palermo) you have to go 15 mins in the opposite direction. They also had an excursion desk that was not staffed for my entire stay. It would have been nice to have gone on a boat snorkel tour or something. Without excursions and nothing close by it was very boring here. I would not recommend this place.

The staff were friendly and fairly helpful. The apartment was much bigger than I thought and was very clean and comfortable. The terrace we had was also super big and nice. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The food was lovely and we enjoyed the breakfast and meals we had at lunch or evening the few times we did. Overall a fabulous holiday and great experience. It would be nice if there were more snack options available in the bar menu, it was just drinks and a croissant. But its not the end of the world. We had a jaccuzzi on our terrace. It was one of those that is like a bath, not a pre-filled ready to go hot tub. I have stayed in a number of hotels/airbnbs with this style and we have put soap in it and had no issues. This one when we put soap in, I touched the water with my hand got an electric shock. We went to hotel staff about this and they had someone come to check it when we were not there. We had to go back to the hotel twice to find out as no-one told us anything. Then they just told us dont put soap in, and dont fill the water past a certain leve. Which is fine however, I got a proper 'shock' and they didnt seem bothered. But there were no instructions left so I think if its going to electrocute you, they should have signs. I was nervous to go back in it. I've also used numerous 'proper' hot tubs with friends and water spilling over or bubbles has not caused an electric shock..so I think that should be looked at and a sign left at least.

Ocean view Very bad experience, the staff is rude and not helpful at all, no knowledge about what time the parking gate is open, and also gave us a room without a single window, also we like to eat something in the lobby and got their red, also the hotel only has a good looking lobby, everything else is so dirty and not maintained, also the room got very bad smell from the toilet, tons of things to complain, soooo bad experience.

The staff was excellent with special thanks to the Consierge Salvo. Dinner at the Blanco was excellent every night for every dish and the scenery and beach were just gorgeous!

Amazing views while having breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast selection was great, and varied over the days. Dinner super nice with great service. Got the room by the beach and kids loved it. Internet was unreliable and often never worked.

Proximity to the beach and free chairs Choice of restaurants within walking distance. The choice of resaurants on site had the same menue. The breakfast was judt ok.

There is no access to the village, no transportation, no walking possibility. The restaurants are on the top of the building and it’s noisy, mostly from the moving chairs.

easy access to the beach and pool. Great location Food options lacking

We rented an apartment. It had 3 beds, a small kitchen with a microwave, 2 burner stove, and a FULL size refrigerator. We also had our own private patio with a view of the water. The bathroom was also full size. The best air-conditioner in Sicily! The parking was a bit of a up hill walk carrying groceries and luggage in the heat to our apartment. I don't believe you can bring food into the main resort rooms. The hotel could benefit with a golf cart to shuttle to our room. The apartments were right across from the restaurant, so some night could be a little noisy with music.

This was a gorgeous resort and a perfect location for a family beach vacation. We had just come off of a 10 day plane, train and automobile frenetic journey and all we wanted was to sit by the ocean and swim. The Hotel Sporting Club was exactly what we needed. Our two bedroom apartment was beautiful and the hotel had sweeping ocean views. We enjoyed the free breakfast and camped out on the private beach. We rented a car so we didn’t encounter this problem, but you NEED to have your own transportation. Once you reach the resort you are pretty much isolated. It was exactly what were we’re looking for. We ate breakfast at the property and dinner at the restaurant that was connected to the hotel. We didn’t leave even though we had transportation. I could see this being a problem for other people.

I like the beach front and and the private pool. Far away from the city. Some of the services are not available or not provided by the establishment itself. We choose this for the beach front and the massage service but when we get there the massage service is not available. This can be a false advertisement for services that said to be available but then not. Also, it seems like its not a foreigner friendly location and the front desk don't feel welcoming.

Rooms clean and nice all different. Towels changed frequently. Pool area nice and lots of different seating in the gardens. Some of the staff could be a bit rude when over stretched . It was early in the season and not quite up to speed.
