Hostel Pousada do Tapajós

The location is good, close to where some of the tours leave and only a few blocks from the main square. Breakfast was nice too. The attitude of some staff members was unprofessional. One staff member scolded us for not booking a tour with them, even though I wasn't aware that they offered tours. I also have the right to choose what is best for me. The doors and windows did not close properly, which allowed a lot of mosquitoes into the room at night.

It is located in a calm area but just 50 m from one of the beaches and a short walk to the centre. The younger staff was very kind. The breakfast is very good. I didn't like the many mosquitos everywhere. Futher, there is not really comfortable seating in the common area except the hammocks outside.

Good quiet location, nice breakfast, clean place and nice garden to chill in a hammock. Staff could be a little bit more friendly, there is no English spoken, the bathroom and the room has a lot of mosquito's but no mosquito nets.

My experience at Pousada and Hostel Tapajós, was quite satisfactory. From the beginning, I was received with hospitality and cordiality by the team. The included breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of delicious options that provided a great start to days exploring the region. The quality of the food and the attention to detail by the inn staff were remarkable. The presence of good quality Wi-Fi was an important differentiator, especially for those who need to combine work and leisure during their stay. The reliable connection allowed for a smooth experience for those who needed to be connected. The shared space of the inn was another positive point. Spacious and well organized, it provided a welcoming environment for social interactions between guests, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The location close to the city's tourist center was convenient, facilitating access to points of interest and ensuring a more complete experience of Alter do Chão.

The Pousadas also offers tours. The owner helped me book a bus ticket, I didn't ask, she offered to as she wanted to make sure I got aon the bus. As pessoas sao muito simpacticos Nothing

Nice quiet hostel in the centre of Alter do Chao, 2 min walking from the Cajueiro beach. Breakfast was provided. Checking in experience could be improved

The location was perfect. Very quiet but close to everything. You have a lovely area to chill out outside. Kitchen area and free drinking water. Fans and AC in the dorm. Staff was lovely! Lots of mosquitos in the room.

Despite language issues the staff were extremely helpful, the rooms and beds excellent and the breakfast top notch. -

Comfortable and clean rooms with beautiful garden (with hammocks) and excellent location. I stayed in a private room with toilet - simple but very clean, comfortable, safe and in good condition. Near the centre of the village and just by a beautiful beach. Very helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

The beds were super comfy, the location was great - the beach is literally 2 minutes away and there is a superb place to watch the sunset nearby. Great breakfast as well
