Our experience at Katerina Rooms was nothing short of amazing. We stayed in the studio, which was bright, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was part of the open space, making it super convenient, and the private terrace with stunning sea views was the cherry on top—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a peaceful sunset. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, but what truly made this stay special was the warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a traditional sweet from Zakynthos and fresh eggs straight from their hens. On Easter Sunday, they surprised us with red-dyed eggs so we could be part of the local celebration—such a thoughtful gesture! The outdoor area was beautifully arranged with plenty of seating options, and the hosts even brought us a barbecue so we could grill some meat. Although the local shops were closed due to the holidays and we didn’t end up using it, the fact that they made the effort says it all. The location is also perfect if you're planning to explore the island—everything feels within reach. And the hosts were absolutely lovely, always available and eager to help with anything we needed. A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts for making us feel so welcome. If we return to Zakynthos, there’s no question—we’ll be back! Dimitris & Laura ????

We had a pleasant time at Katerina Rooms. The room was spacious enough, clean and tidy. Beautiful view from the balcony. It was also well-equiped with all necessary kithen appliances.Our host was very friendly and she provided us with some eggs and home-made olive oil and cake as a treat :) There is nothing I can think of right now.

Good location, great and welcoming host. The room was not that clean. Based on the almost perfect review score, we expected much more. The WIFI was working intermitently and when it was, the speed was slow; somtimes the phone would not connect at all. The bathroom had windows to the lobby area so you could hear the guest coming down the stairs. Also the bathroom shower was rather small and inconvenient to use.

Takis welcomed us very kindly. Before we arrived to there, he responded every question with great patience. He recommended very nice places to us. The room was so clean, there were fresh eggs which was perfect for our son and hand made desert for us in the fridge. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thanks Takis for everything!

Superb

Everything was cool! The host was very much responsive, always in touch. They even gifted us with a delicious home made cake. The room was well equipped with everything necessary, even spices. I would stay here again.

The property is well located. Easy to go all over the island from there. Close to the beach. Taki ans his mum Katerina are lovely friendly people , ready to help with advice on where to go and what to do. There’s a covered bbq area and small garden. Close to a supermarket, petrol station,bakery. Would come back and stay without hesitation. Nothing !

Katerinas Rooms is a bit away from the very touristy places and therefore it was calm and relaxing. The bathroom war small, but (especially for such a low price) one of the most comfortable ones I had in greece so far (real shower stall and rainforest shower). The room had a spacious balcony and there were other nice places to sit outside as well. All was well kept and pretty. Although the host spoke no englisch (and I spoke no greek) I got a very heartfelt welcome and even some eggs from the owners chickens and desert from Zakynthos.

Set in a quiet area, beautiful surroundings, exactly what we hoped for. Takis and Katerina were so welcoming and helpful. Takis even drove us to the supermarket in his own car. Would recommend hiring a car. Will definitely return.

This Airbnb did set the standards really high! We got the two bedroom apartment which had a really spacious terrace, with absolutely everything you needed! Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and besides air conditioning/heating etc, we even had mosquito repellent plug-ins for each room. There is not a single thing that you would need and it's not in there! Furthermore, cleanliness was 11/10 and the most important aspect, the exceptional hospitality received from the start to finish! Even the outside had such a great touch, with different chairs, benches, tables and bbq, to ensure you have plenty of options to choose from in order to relax and enjoy. I cannot recommend this place enough! It has been fabulous, and if you are up for seeing the entire island like we did, guess what, every attraction is pretty much of a same distance from Katerina Rooms! Without any doubt I would choose this accommodation again! Many thanks Alicia & Laura

The owners are really friendly people, always available for questions. They surprised us with a home made cake, eggs and salad. The room is big, beds oke (little bit hard) and the location perfect. In the neighbourhood is a swimming pool you are allowed to use. Really nice appartement, would definitely recommend this place.

The location, right in the center point to visit all spots and beaches. The room with fantastic views. the manager was super helpful, he recomended us the best things to do.

Very perfect room with the best owners. :) Katerina made traditional dessert, in the fridge there are fresh eggs and water.

Excellent host. We loved it, Takis and his mother are great people who make your stay enjoyable. The previous comments are 100% real, we've experienced a very good time at their villa. The room was clean, clean sheets, towels etc. Takis mom provided us eggs for breakfast (twice) and homemade cake and they were excellent. We really thank you for our stay, we had a room with a perfect view. ευχαριστώ N/A

Very good hotel. Comfortable beds and pillows. Newly furbished rooms are big enough. Sea view balcony. Every day cleaning. Very friendly owner (Katherina and his son). They help for everything. Free parking is available around. Nothing.
