Price for value Overall not the best experience. A few days before my arrival I received a WhatsApp message from someone from the blue lagoon asking if I wanted to rent a car, this was a repeat of the same question asked through the booking.com messages... then I arrived within the interval I had let them known through booking, and the place was completely empty. I sent them a message on the booking app, I sent them a WhatsApp, a few moments later decided to call, at which point I got told the keys were inside the apartment and so were the instructions. I had to contact them again for the WiFi password. The apartment wasn't that clean, with crumbs on the floor and stuff accumulated in the corners, you couldn't shower without pouring water all over the bathroom, and the toilet doesn't seal properly. Furniture is dated, location is super isolated, and though you have a small beach at the end of the road, it's not the best (water and sand dirty). The frequency of cleaning seems to be random, as the site said everyday, but they only came once in 3 days. All of this I could have overlooked, but what made the experience indeed bad was that the owner, that mind you I hadn't seen once, because again, no one was there to receive me, decided to call me at 1AM on my last night because the card down on booking.com was not working. Look, I understand the seriousness of the issue, but you call at an appropriate time, you message, anything, but you don't call someone at 1 in the morning and don't even apologise for it. The owner was very nice when he came to collect payment, but again, not even an acknowledgement of the rudeness of calling that late. My suggestion, considering the owner and staff are not present at all times to collect payment, would be to make all bookings prepaid, that way they could avoid these situations.

The location is perfect for a chilled relaxed beach holiday. The room was clean and had a lovey view of sea.

Very good

The appartment was close to a little beach and the view. From the balcony was great Unfortunately the room was not too clean, it was not possible to close the lit of the toilet (fixed with tape) therefore were some flies in the bathroom.

Exceptionally clean and very cozy. Two steps from Psarou beach and 15 min walk to Ammoudi beach that we enjoyed a lot! Walking distance to bus stations from where bus takes to the city center. There were some issues with Wi-Fi but they were quickly fixed. Great value for money!

I have to praise the balcony and the view, also the bed was not bad, however 1 blanket for sleep is not enough, even if it is wide. Would welcome set of 2 smaller ones. I really did not like the bathroom, it was rather small, sink drain got stuck on the second day and since we were not able to use it. Also, kitchen sink and its envirnoment wasnt clean, it was covered with limescale. It felt dirty.

Disappointing

We visited zakythos in the middle of June. The apartment was perfect for us. It had an amazing view, from the balcony we could see the sea and in less than one minute we could enjoy the beach. Car space. All the basic utilities and so on. Owners were super polite and helpful for us. Simple example I asked for a barbecue grill and they gave it for me. So I was able to do barbecue almost every night. Totally recommend it if you want not something luxurious and affordable. We spent 13 nights in Sparou and we enjoyed it more than anything.

Air conditioning doesent work.no net for mosquito

We were planning to stay 2 nights but decided to stay another night. We loved how calm it was. The owner came by every day and gave us a ride to the ferry when we left for cheaper than a taxi. We really enjoy our stay and we recommend this place!

No comments I arrived on Zante from Kefalonia and messaged the blue lagoon to ask if I could check in early. The reply was that the room had been double booked and I had no accommodation!!!! Luckily I found the Zante Flower nearby with availability. Poor service from the Blue Lagoon, when were they going to let me know???

Superb

The owner is really nice. He left bread, butter, juce, water, cheese and ham for us in the fridge. The room is clean, nice view of the sea. We arrived late and they didn't saw our reservation on booking. I called the number, the owners arrived and cleaned the room before we could get in. Over all it took maybe 30 min. I suggest you would call them before arriving!

The room was spacious and well equipped with nice terrace (although not very well maintained in terms of cleanliness). The bed is comfortable and there is a sofa, the furniture is new except for the wardrobe which was old and had a bit of unpleasant smell (like mold or something). The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster. They also provided bread, ham and cheese for breakfast as well as instant coffee and juice. The shower space was too tiny, the shower itself was not sprinkling properly and could not be adjusted in height. Also it was not draining out and the bathroom as a whole was not clean enough.
