Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Amarillo West

So we stayed in this hotel twice on our trip. Hotel is under Construction some construction going on outside of the properties .Rooms were not properly cleaned,there were stains around the toilet and In the shower tub.. we were just staying for one night and we didn’t have time to ask them get it clean or change our room. But still Cleaning crew should take care of this matter.

No hot water, no shampoo, no hand soap.

The place was nice and the location of the hotel was perfect for what we did. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend that hotel to anyone.

It is definitely’micro’ for amenities and just everything. Good for a one night stay otherwise I wouldn’t book here again.

Very clean room

Front desk lady was very helpful! Also loved the room decor and high ceilings.

Overall stay was okay. The shower was dirty. Also the bed had what felt like sand under the main blanket so I went ahead and just slept on top of the blanket. Front desk staff was nice.

Clean, quiet room. Room was large . Doesn't have any extras like closet, hair dryer but worked great for our needs.

The room was very clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. The breakfast was solid. Bagel, yogurt, and coffee. The only issue I had was parking. He'd to park a bit away from the hotel as the hotel parking was full.

Nice for the price

We reported the issue, and staff promised to REFUND the money. We heard clicking sound all night which was coming from the room/walls. Staff heard the noise and suggested it could be due to plumbing or the construction going on. We couldn't sleep for more than 1 hour. We wasted our vacations. Truly, it was very terrible night and lost 2 days of vacations.

Room was fresh and clean! Quiet at night with a well-lit parking area. Breakfast was yummy. Courteous and helpful staff. Close to lots of dining choices.

It was clean and the breakfast was good. I wanted a room closer to the elevator due to having a bad knee, but was told there were only select rooms available.

Great place for a one or two night stay. The only drawback to our room was the lack of drawers and closet to store clothing and luggage.

Front desk personnel was not profession and uncleanliness appearance. Waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk for check-in. The noise level was extremely loud all night long and the A/C continued to make a loud noise!!

The hotel isn’t branded well. The sign outside says it’s a Comfort Inn. The key holder said it is a Hilton and it’s neither. Not a big deal just hard to find from the road because there are several hotels in the area. The room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom floor. The door to the room wasn’t even attached to the wall properly. You could see a big gap in the drywall which is kind of weird. We stayed in room 217. The shampoo/conditioner and body wash are in bottles that can be tampered with so I just couldn’t trust them and was thankful I had brought my own. I will not stay again as there are competing hotels that are very close and maybe a little more money but definitely worth it.
