Motel 6 Amarillo, TX - Airport

I liked the location to where we were going. Duck tape on the cracks in the vinyl wood flooring. The mattress was on a slick platform that was bigger than the mattress. Kept hitting your legs when walking near the bed. Mattress was only about 4 inches thick. The mattress slid around extremely easy which made it scary to think I might slide off the platform during my sleep. The pillows were also very flat and old feeling. The fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. The room was clean, tv worked well and so did the air conditioning. Felt as though the cost far out weighed the quality of the room.

The room was average clean and the staff was friendly. But the refrigerator could not even cool a soda and could not be adjusted. The microwave was missing parts and functioned. The shower was high and the metal tub was a slip hazard, and there was no drain cover. There was no coffee pot, no iron and board, and no hair dryer. The plus side is the air conditioner worked great, the tv worked and the bed was not uncomfortable. I will not be back and do not recommend. Thank you.

A little smelly, and the pillows were not great, but the price was good for one night.

For a budget option, room was extremely clean. Mostly families staying as guests. Did not use laundry, but it was a convenient amenity.

The stop was perfect and had laundry area for us to wash. Room could have been cleaned a bit better with more towels. Also our checking in staff was sleeping when arrived.

Only thing that would have improved stay would have been coffee in lobby to start my day. Besides that stay was great

BEWARE!!! Expedia took full payment from me for 3 rooms then Motel 6 took payment for 2 of the rooms from the people that were traveling with me. So far they have refused to refund the double payment. Please don't let this happen to you!!

You get what you pay for. I got a good night's sleep. However, there was a large stain on the comforter that looked kind of like an old blood stain, so I did not sleep with the comforter on. I would have told the person at the front desk, but she was crying when I was checking in so it seemed like she was already having a bad enough day. Not a huge deal since the sheets underneath were clean, but kind of disturbing still that something like that is overlooked.
