Courtyard by Marriott Amelia Island

This hotel is within minutes to the beach, and sits right across the street from Fort Clinch Park. The hotel is clean and spacious.

Great hotel. It was a shared building woth a sister hotel. The sister hotel had a continental breakefast included. This one has a paod restaurant.

The location is fantastic, the staff was wonderful, and the room and pool area were beautiful. I will definitely stay again.

The room was fine, standard hotel room. The location is fantastic and why I will continue to stay here, but on the Springhill Suites side. Breakfast was not included for Courtyard and parking was $15, which in the past staying with Springhill, I believe was included.

This hotel was so nice. Practically brand new! We would stay there again for sure.

Bad customer service services

This hotel is more like a resort. I could lay in bed and see the beach. The staff was friendly and the amenities were first rate.

Pool was great, food was good by pool side. Walk to the beach was easy! But our room was fourth floor by the maintenance room, and 5am every morning loud sounds woke us up, it sounded like a construction zone. My husband went down to front desk and first night they gave us a food voucher. Second night, he talked to the gm and she promised to give us some of our stay back but Expedia has not issued refund yet. And our air conditioner broke second day too, if the refund would happen I prob wouldn’t even complain because it was definitely fair.

Second, the layout of the lobby areas is bizarre. I think there was originally a check in on the Courtyard side, it's an ice cream stand now. There are two "restaurants" but they look like the free breakfast area and it's confusing how to even order. The free breakfast are is on the Courtyard side and I was asked for a room card to get a cup off coffee. They also ask you to wear a bracelet in the pool. I don't know if they are trying to keep out the Springhill guests or people in the neighborhood. Regardless, it seems odd and uncomfortable. There are not many elevators considering the number of rooms and they are about as slow as it gets. But the biggest issue is the management because the staff is untrained and overworked. I was charged 3 times for my room. no one at the front desk could do anything about it so I have to call my bank and dispute the charges. i was also run out of the breakfast area with my 7-year-old son for not being a member. my tv was not working when i arrived and my door to the room would not shut properly. this was the worse hotel i have stayed in my 37 years.

I came here for my wedding weekend and was super excited. I booked the room from hotels.com thinking we had breakfast in the mornings and all these cool other things, just to find out we don’t get breakfast unless we booked with Springfield not courtyard even though it’s the same connecting building. My room had NO sheets for the pull out bed, and my pregnant self had to walk all the way to the front desk to get sheets because no one would answer the phone. The couch and pull out bed and the floors had yellow pee stains everywhere. The staff members were very rude and unhelpful and rude to other guests. The elevators were terrible and need an upgrade. The toilet paper handle was broken and hanging off the wall. I had to pay $40 for parking when I had no where to park one of the nights. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott and I am very disappointed it ruined my whole wedding weekend. Do better. I will be calling corporate.

Ok for families but not adults. Literally had kids swimming into our butts!! In the middle and through of our group in the pool. A cabana is $500 for 6 people . No special services come with it. Pool bistro is very expensive. They also didn’t tell us about parking charges daily. Walls are very thin. Heard kids running halls at 6 am and 2 am. Lots of elevators but extremely SLOW!!!!!
