I had requested first floor room. They put me on the second floor all the way at the end. I have trouble walking long distances. They told me there was no rooms available on the first floor. Hmmm... After telling the manager that I couldn't walk long distances a first floor room magically appeared. I was told that I could have that room at no extra charge. Ok. Thanks? I went to the room and I just had enough time to open the door and push in my suitcase. Didn't walk in. When I came back for the night, when I walked in, I couldn't breathe. The stench of cigars and something else took over the room. I walked in and walked right out. Went to the front desk and asked to have my room switched again. The smell was unbearable. He smirked. He did then put me on the third floor at the end of the hall. At this point, I was too tired to argue with him and the distance. This morning, I went to enjoy the continental breakfast. The bagels wer we stale. So I went to get slice of white bread. It was moldy. I strongly recommend you choose another hotel to stay at. Not worth the money I paid.

The room wasn't absolutely terrible, but could've been way better. The couch was heavily stained everywhere and the carpet was sticky. We also experienced a chemical smell, not sure if it was what they used to clean with or not. Everything else was decent.

There was hair in the bathtub and top of bed. I told the desk person and they didn’t care. They just said ok. Not a clean place. Smoke free room smelled of stale smoke and had nicotine yellow drip makes down walls.

All average a motel to stay the night. Nothing fancy this is my second stay. Basic amenities, ice machine works , nearby easy access to Iowa St. University.

The rooms need more cleaning and the mirrors too

Room smelled like someone smoked for a month straight. It was so hard to breathe. Had we checking in not so late in the evening, I would have demanded a new room. Hotel room was dirty. Had a different experience last year but after this year, never coming back.

Very pleasant stay.

Staff was very pleasant, lobby was clean. Room was in desperate need of an update, window was broke, water damage to ceiling, just outdated.

5 stars. Great stay. Convenient location to gas and food. Comfortable beds and room was clean except for the bathroom. Nice of them to allow dogs it was greatly appreciated on a long road trip. Coffee and breakfast was amazing!

State of four nights they came and clean the room one time only

There was only a couple things staying at the hotel. I understand the hotel allows pets but the room was horrible smelled of a wet dog. Even after asking for air freshener it did not help possible in the carpet. It’s okay to allow pets but aloe sure property is being cleaned properly and odorless for those staying. One of the beds had any but after removing all sheets and replacing it was fine.

The room was infested with little red ants. We complained but nothing was done.

Quiet, in a decent part of town. Ants were HORRIBLE. There were ants everywhere, and I mean everywhere. We had an 8 week old baby with us, who woke up with ants crawling all over her and her bedding, ants made it into our bags, diaper bags, and personal blankets. When I brought it up to staff, I was told it was to be expected with humidity. Do I understand nature is nature and does what it wants? Yes. However, this amount of ants in a single room on the 2nd floor, is more than a humidity issue. Gross.

Front desk person (younger gentleman) was very helpful and friendly the first night. Older man next day was not. The BED had HAIR all over the bottom sheets and mattress covers. No exaggeration. We got there very late and only had to sleep there for one night so we just slept on top of the cover and asked for extra blankets.Several ants in the room. Loud AC that made a churning sound throughout the night . Our room wasn’t the only room because another woman complained about it at the front desk as well and said she would never stay at the residence again.Small but decent shower. Grout was a bit dirty. Breakfast was minimal and limited to all carbs. The he milk was spoiled.
