location was great as it was easily accessible from multiple modes of public transport. The room was clean and the toilet was properly fitted with all the required toiletries and amenities. nice that the wifi was free and you could cast to the tv any subscription we had. only problem was that there was no hot water when we returned to our hotel in the early morning time. and it wasn;t fixed by the time we woke up to check out so definitely something needs to be done to improve there.

Not all of the lights in the room were working (the bathroom lights were constantly flickering), and unfortunately the television wasn't working either. The hairdryer worked for about 2 seconds before stopping- went to the reception where they lent me a new hairdryer, no issues there. The bathtub also kept leaking water:isolation wasn't very good.

Bathroom was, very small. My stay was in winter, they had a AC with warm air, there was a window that couldn't close properly, and AC did not help with the floor, it was ice cold floor. Main door to the room is not sealed enough so you'd here sound from the corridor all the time.

Comfortable fair by the price that I paid. No carrier for my baggage to bring inside.

For once I booked something without reading the reviews just because the parking was cheaper.... You pay for a private parking but the gate is always open ,once you find it closed ringing the bell you told to ring is mission impossible you'll have to go back and ask them to open the gate. Our booking during the new year was the worst. Cars , ambulances , police cars , siren ? from the highway ..you literally hear everything from the out slide and the window was closed. For 4nights not even 1 day was the room cleaned , towels or beddings changed or replace the coffee mugs they only changed the bin and we found this hotel liner what they put on the bed was left on the floor. Dust everywhere my charger happened to fall under the bed from those bed sockets I had to go down story for another day ,you just inhale dust .. The bathroom is small everything is squished the sink is almost not there .For the price we paid we were disappointed big time ...on checking out you not even asked how your stay was ,if everything was ok or wished a safe journey probably they know you'll never consider booking with them again ...carry your own hot water cattle when possible...

The property is nice and simple and is price for that and it is a good value. A holder for soap in the shower cabin would be nice and handy.

room little bit small little bit far from Lelylaan station, but still ok

The radiator/heater made some noise which was uncomfortable. When we removed the badge/card the noise stopped.

Close to Train station I was charged double and make request but no one responded from the email i sent to the hotel. I made two bookings at the hotel to lodge with my wife and infant kid on the 8th September, 2025 for 1st October -2nd October and 2nd-3rd Ocotber, 2025. The same credit card was used to make the reservations at bookings.com. My credit card was debited for the two reservations on the same date on the bookings website. I checked in the Bastion hotel with my family on 1st October, 2025, and checked out on 3rd October, 2025. However, I noticed that after checkout, my account was debited again for the reservation. Before checking out, I paid for the breakfast we had during our stay with my credit card at the reception. I was suprised that even the infant of one year was charged the same amount as the adults. When I checked my bank statement, there were 5 deductions associated with Bastion Hotel when there should be 2 for the hotel reservation and 1 for the checkout payment for breakfast. I email the hotel to address this and attached my bank statement to demand a refund. Only one of the refund was made, which is a request i made while at the hotel. The other queries are until today not responded to by the hotel. It was a bad experience.

I asked for a king bed but they got 2 single beds

Staff, Lucas, Maria and housekeeping were very helpful.

The cleaning was not done for two days for my stay and even bed sheets were not changed.

charger for EV's is very slow (11kW ?! ) and to limited; not all cards are accepted. (I have a radius card, works alomst everywhere) room was.. old. clearly renovated, but in a very cheap way. unlogic position of light switches, plugs not accessible,...

The coffee machine was filthy and emitted a foul odor ?— clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages ?. The bed sheets reeked, and the toilet was visibly dirty upon check-in ?, showing a complete lack of hygiene standards??. To top it all off, the mattress had actual blood stains ??? — utterly revolting and beyond unacceptable. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Stay far away from this hotel.⛔⛔⛔

This is a nice, easygoing hotel, absolutely good value for money, clean and comfortable room of good size. Very nice a bit soft, beds. And what is great, the windows can be opened. Pleasant employees at reception and the bar. Next to a tramstop, and one tramstop from railway station. There is one thing which is troublesome to me, a big boy. The bathroom is tiny, with a very small and uncomfortable wash basin, difficult to use because of overhanging toiletries board above it. The shower cubicle, although pleasantly truly waterproof, is also small, so it is dancing at a few square centimetres. In the shower cubicle, there is no place to put any toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, or razor. Waterpressure is unfortunately also too low. Showering is, therefore, rather inefficient and takes too much time.
