The staff were very nice and helpful. No elevator

The location of the property is excellent. In the middle of every where you want to go. Spacious room with an excellent mattress and pillows. Although the hotel mentions that there is no elevator, none can imagine the angle of the stairs. The breakfast was a basket with a poor selection of things.

Location was great, staff were welcoming. Room was clean and well proportioned, bed was comfortable, great for a short weekend The property felt a bit tired and the towels need replacing

The receptionist was friendly and the hotel easy to find with an central location. That was about it. We received room nr 2 which is on the groundfloor (Room nr 1 is also on the groundfloor on the side of the river). Unfortunately this is room had bad lighting (almost none since we had a window on the inside of the building), we everything that was going on in the reception/breakfast space with light coming through underneath the door. I think that if we booked earlier we might have had a better room higher up, but this one was just really fake advertisement from the pictures on booking. There was nothing chic about this room. It was dark, paint stains a bit everywhere on the walls (not like the beautiful painted ornaments you see in the pictures), an awkward placed mirror that is too high to see anything of your outfit with and a weird door above the entrance that just gave an off vibe to the whole room. We just went away because luckily we only booked for a single night. If you book here, I would recommend you to ask which room you are receiving before making the reservation.

the staff, location, and cleanliness were good, I planned a delightful, romantic trip to Amsterdam with my spouse and paid a high price for this hotel. While the staff, location, and cleanliness were good, the room didn't match the photos; it was tiny, and the window faced a view of pipes. We spoke to the hotel staff, and thankfully, they moved us to a room on the top floor. It was a step up in comfort—we could actually move around inside. :) Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't live up to its price point.

The hotel was easy walking to shops, restaurants and right on the canal. It was a smooth process to check in. The place was very spacious and got to use the jets in the tub They said there would be no scheduled cleaning but someone knocked for a scheduled cleaning and totally caught us off guard. The bed also kept shifting off the frame so I almost fell off when I laid down a few times.
