Really well located to be experiencing downtown but not in the center! Cool hotel, nice team, GREAT GYM! The staff in the restaurant took some time to take orders, and on the receptions sometimes it took a while to be served as there was only 1 person at times.

I really loved my stay here! The location is perfect, very close to the city centre, but still in a quieter area away from all the crowds. The room was beautiful and I especially loved the interior design: very modern and stylish, but with some really cool retro touches that gave it a lot of character. Another big plus is having everything in the same building. You can have dinner at the restaurant downstairs and then head up to the A’DAM Lookout for a drink and an amazing view over Amsterdam. Such a fun and convenient place to stay!

The rooms do not have opening windows . The rooms are therefore stale. The aircon doesn’t go cold enough and is weak. I have a mild chest condition and I felt I couldn’t breathe. Had to change hotel Stuffy closed in rooms

Hotel is nice and clean, rooms are not as small as you can see somewhere else in Amsterdam. There is a nightclub outside but it never bothered me. Also the restaurant is decent.

Julianna and the staff were so considerate and went beyond knowing I had injuries and mobility issues

Funky room. Comfy bed. Very poor service. Abrupt, arrogant and frankly rude night staff. Impossible to reach via email or phone. Will not return.

I liked the corner room views overlooking the water and Amsterdam Central. Everything was super close and the staff were amazing. The breakfast as well was absolutely delicious. Best I've had in Amsterdam thus far. I also liked the karaoke elevators. That was such a great experience as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Sir Adam Hotel and would happily return. Even before we arrived, the service impressed us. Due to political tensions in the region where we live, I requested an extension to our refundable cancellation deadline. The team responded with kindness and without hesitation, extending it by two days. That level of understanding and flexibility made a wonderful first impression. Our room was immaculate—meticulously clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, and the pillows were wonderfully fluffy. Every detail made it a pleasure to come back to the room after a day out. The bathroom deserves a special mention. It was one of the best hotel bathrooms we’ve experienced. I especially loved the layout, with the shower and toilet in separate areas, making it easy for two people to get ready at the same time without getting in each other’s way. The shower itself was excellent. The exceptional service, beautiful rooms, incredible comfort, and thoughtful design made this a memorable stay. Thank you to the entire Sir Adam team—we thoroughly enjoyed our time with you. There are just a couple of small areas for improvement. Although the white towels were perfectly clean, they had a slight old, damp smell and could benefit from a fresher fragrance. Also, the air conditioning didn’t seem to cool the room effectively overnight, and it became a little warm and muggy while sleeping. Overall, these were very minor points in what was otherwise an outstanding experience.

Everything, great location, comfortable rooms, wonderful touches throughout the hotel (karaoke elevators, record players in rooms, vinyls available in reception). Just a fantastic hotel all round N/A

Exceptional

Location was perfect Some dust around the windows and shelves, very bad for allergies. Breakfast could be better, more options of fruits and filtered coffee was available only in the first day, the other only with the machine.
