Ciao Papa Hotel Amsterdam Central Station

We stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, and they helped us with everything throughout our stay. The location is excellent it’s within walking distance of almost everywhere. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

The room was so cute and had just what we needed. AC was amazing and the location was great. Hard to carry suitcases up the narrow steps but the staff was there to help

Convenient to the train station and in the heart of the central city. Plenty to do in the area. Thin walls. It was difficult to sleep with the other guests on the floor ignoring any common sense about noise control. They were young and plentiful.

The location is great. Value for money. No lift and you have sometimes to go upstairs for 4 floors. The receptionist is not helpful. I slept-over and i only allowed me 10 minutes to packup my luggage and take shower otherwise he said will charge me a whole night.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel. The location is superb, and both the service and cleanliness were excellent. I’m especially grateful to the staff who kindly helped carry my luggage despite there being no lift and only the iconic stairs. Thank you so much.

It was in the heart of everything extremely close to the train station walking distance. Everything was extremely small and tight my husband and I could barely move or even sleep on that time you had a bed that was there to the point where my husband felt claustrophobic and was ready to leave. And maybe be OK for one person by themselves not for two the rooms are extremely tiny for two people. Don’t even talk about the bed.

The multiple flights of stair and the room was very small

The room we booked had bed bugs. We noticed this in the evening of our first night at around 9pm. When we reported this to the reception, they weren't able to offer us a different room because the hotel was fully booked. They also weren't willing or able to help us book a different hotel room in Amsterdam. We had to last minute book a new room in a different hotel that ended up being more expensive and we had to cover the cost ourselves. I also overheard a conversation that another room in this hotel had bed bug issues. After searching more on Google, this seems to be a common issue at Ciao Papa hotel. I strongly advise against this hotel.

The receptionist called Redouan was a very professional and polite guy .
