nice cold A/C during the heat wave was great. clean room and shower and common areas it's small. maybe a small rack or hangar for a few clothing items would be more useful than a tv

Everything was great except when the reviews say the rooms are small, it's no joke. There's no space fro anything but a bed. It was a comfortable bed though. The bathroom was almost as big as the bedroom and it was nice and clean The room was extremely small, it was almost comical but whatever. If we did some more diligent searching we probably could have found a bigger airbnb or private hostel room for a similar price but I just booked the first reasonably priced thing I saw

Beautiful and very convenient. Great for resting .

Modern, had an on site b fast hot beverage place, used technology smartly that allowed for independence but a cell phone is a necessity. We travel a lot in Europe in popular cities. We were deceived by the term double room. Two people cannot walk Into the room at the same time. It is a nice looking hostel that is overly private even considering the time of year in Amsterdam. It also was a 25 minute walk to the ferry to get into town. The bed was the room with the walls touching the bed. In order for one person to change clothes the other person had to sit on the toilet. We had to crawl in and out of bed because the walls touched the bed. Overly priced and deceptively promoted. We would not recommend this place to anyone unless they made the price much much lower and made it clear the size of the room.

Clean, comfortable and modern internal windowless room. Very comfortable bed, powerful shower and strong Wi-Fi. The lighting control in the room is also very nice. The checking in process is ultra modern, but feels more like a faff to be honest.

very comfortable bed, clean room, also I like a lot area and I recommend to all customers from here to take the feryboat from Amsterdam Centraal to Noord because bus is expensive The pillows were too big and hard.

There are not windows in room. Also, hairdyer.

I enjoyed the experience of the hotel. I had read reviews and looked at photos so knew what to expect size wise. I loved that my phone was the key, that I could check in and check out using my phone too and that the room had all I needed. I required a hair dryer and an iron, which were provided straight away by the helpful reception team. I was fully aware the room did not have any windows, which for a 2 night stay did not really affect us. We were out and about most of the time so only used to room overnight. It's around a 20 minute walk to the free 2 minute ferry crossing, which takes you straight over to Amsterdam Centraal. We never had to wait for a ferry as there was always one there waiting. I don't think I would stay here if I was planning on staying more than a few days and spending a lot of time in my room (due to no natural lighting etc) but for a couple of days away it's perfect.

perfect for a short stay, clean, easy instructions, friendly vibes, perfect value for money. The room is too little for a longer stay but for spending a few nights it's what you want. The beds were super comfortable

Room and bathroom were pretty clean and modern. Cafe looks like a decent hangout spot (didn't try the food though). Decent location. Friendly cleaning staff. NO LUGGAGE STORAGE! At checkout, staff told me it was first-come-first-serve and already full (and they don't offer it officially). They gave me the "helpful" suggestion to go rent a locker at Amsterdam Centraal. This has not happened to me in any hotel before. SLEEP / NOISE: My room was located directly by the hallway door, so despite the advertised "soundproof walls", I was frequently disturbed by doors slamming and people talking. It was kind of okay with earplugs, but beware if you're a light sleeper. TINY ROOM: I knew it was going to be small, but didn't expect it to be *that* small. If you have a large suitcase, there's no space to open it except on the bed (gross) or the floor (slightly less gross, but impractical - you always have to squeeze past it). Lack of windows was okay since I was only there to sleep through one night, but I wasn't aware of this when I booked and it's not super obvious. (On Booking, you have to click on the room type to get the detailed room description where it says "no windows"). SERVICE: generally not great; I felt like an annoyance and not a guest. Staff was polite, but disinterested and not really helpful. (Place is probably understaffed since the people at the counter mostly have to serve cafe orders.) Generally cheap and stingy vibe. You're expected to do everything on your phone, even open up the room! I asked nicely for a physical keycard since I didn't want to rely on my phone, and they didn't want to give me one, stating that's only for emergencies and that I should have known. (Booking page says nothing about this and had even explicitly mentioned keycard access, although that's seemingly been removed now) I don't expect the world, but at around €150 a night, I do expect a standard baseline of hotel service and not to be treated like an annoyance when asking for basic amenities like keycards or luggage storage.

    Small room

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

    The room didn't have window.

  • Engine customer Nov 2025

Lack of human interaction with the staff. Even if we did self check-in, we were expecting a warmer welcome. We only had a shy hello at our arrival and nothing after our departure.
