Everything was exceptional. Matt, the host, is amazing. Super helpful and welcoming. The location was great, the bed comfortable, and lots of nice touches in the room- coffee, tea, kettle, snacks, refrig, etc. Couldn’t have been better. Would absolutely stay here again if/when back in Amsterdam. Upgrade the bed pillows- pillows on the bed were squishing and airy. I used all four to prop myself up o the bed without success. Invest in better- and more supportive- pillows. Your guests will thank you!!!

Matt makes a wonderful, full breakfast each morning and cheerfully greets you with coffee or anything you prefer. The location was so convenient to all the places I wanted to walk to in Amsterdam or take the Metro. Charming neighborhood vibe made me feel almost like I lived there. I especially loved my room with the huge open windows, comfortable large bed and amazing bathtub. A truly relaxing experience. Gosh I really can't think of anything. Matt and Kristin were so accommodating to any request.

Centrally located, beautifully kept, wonderful hosts Nothing

We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Lastage Inn in Amsterdam. Matt and Kristian made us feel completely at home. They greeted us right at the door with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. You can tell right away they care about their guests. They helped us get settled, offered great recommendations for restaurants, and made navigating the city effortless. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. Fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day. And the beds were super comfortable… seriously some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. Each room also has a refrigerator stocked with juices, water, and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The location is unbeatable. You’re right in the heart of Amsterdam, and everything is just a 5 to 10 minute walk away. It made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. Matt also recommended that we get tickets to the Van Gogh Museum ahead of time, which turned out to be a great call. One of the highlights of our trip. Kristian suggested a visit to Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder, a hidden church tucked away in the attic of a canal house from the Dutch Golden Age. Such a unique and memorable experience. It only took about an hour and was absolutely worth it. Every detail of our stay felt thoughtful and personal. If you’re visiting Amsterdam, this is the place to stay. No question.

Located centrally close to everything. We had an amazing host who made delicious breakfasts everyday. He was extremely cordial. We had a wonderful time. Absolutely nothing.

Matt prepared a wonderful breakfast each day for us, and each iteration was delicious. You can tell Matt takes his craft of hosting very seriously; he takes the time to get to know you and what you want to do on your vacation and gives you recommendations accordingly. The location is also supremely convenient, with only a block and half walk from the metro station and a 15 minute walk to Centraal Station. You can get anywhere you'd want to go from the Inn. Also, the room was absolutely lovely. You won't be disappointed! Honestly, we really enjoyed everything about our stay. I truly mean it when I say that I would only stay here in Amsterdam. In fact, if Matt ever moved his business to another city, we'd probably schedule our next vacation there!

Comfortable room, great location, great bathtub and delicious breakfast with friendly and knowledgeable host Matt! Recommend for folks looking to stay away from the traditional mass hotel and get more of a local feel!

The location is unbeatable (in the center of the city but on a quiet street), the facilities beautiful, very comfortable and warm (the bed is out of this world!!!), the breakfast is delicious and Matt is the best host you can ask for: very helpful and friendly, he's always there for whatever you may need. We're very grateful with him for having us in his bed and breakfast (definitely coming back next time we visit Amsterdam). Nothing.

The accommodations are cozy and well-stocked and the Inn is located within a 20 minute walk of most of the Centrum and a half block away from the Metro station. The host, Matt, is a joy to talk with and prepares a beautiful breakfast every morning for his guests. He has fantastic recommendations and was a stellar host. We loved all of it.

In a Prime spot to get around. Super convenient to everything. Breakfast was AMAZING. I had no issues.

Matt was an amazing host, the property is very cozy, in a very central location. every morning Matt cooked us an amazing breakfast while we shared the table with other guests, he was always available and nice answering questions about the city and the various attractions.
