Blaine's: A B&B and private dining....

Blaine was always kind and helpful. It is on the 4rd floor with no elevator! There was no indication in the add about that. One room with stairs to a small mezzanine.

My wife and I stayed for 3 comfortable nights. The location was quiet and very close to public transportation to major museums and central station.

Blaine's Bed and Breakfast was a delightful place to stay! It was a beautiful property, very centrally located, a short tram ride away from both the train station and downtown. He has tons of recommendations for sights, restaurants, and experiences accumulated from years living in the city, and you can tell he is passionate about ensuring his guests have a great stay in Amsterdam. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, and Blaine was always available to provide tips for a prospective day of adventuring. It was a delightful time, and we are grateful to Blaine for sharing his love of the city with us! No complaints.

We had to pay a bit more than we were planning on due to a late booking, but the place is great. We loved our two night layover between the Western USA and Tanzania.

The room was super cute and the breakfast was outstanding. Climbing the multiple stairs was a bit tough due to my age, but not a deal breaker.

Very clean and quiet place in a great location! The bed was super comfortable, and there were lots of restaurants just around the corner. Public transit was easy to use, and the neighbourhood felt very safe. Just a heads-up—there are quite a few stairs, so it may be tricky for older guests. The stairs

The house was really beautiful and the room was very tidy and cozy and there was always clean towels for use. It was very nice to have a coffee machine in the room. The host was friendly and the atmosphere in the house was wholesome. Also, there was a beautiful rooftop terrace in the house! Nothing to complain about!

The location suited me well because I was attending an exhibition in the RAI rather than being in central Amsterdam. The welcome was warm and friendly and the roof terrace was available to me to enjoy the beautiful weather The stairs will be an issue for some visitors, not just to get the accommodation but in the accommodation itself (the bedroom is up some quite steep steps). Having said this it was well worth the climb!

It had an absolutely gorgeous deck. The owner was nice Room was fine but the ladder stairs were a bit scary and the stairs up to the apartment were extremely steep and 5 flights. The listing did mention stairs but my mom couldn’t get up comfortably

Easy to reach by public transport from the main railway station, the city and the airport. Wonderful for exploring the city as it is only 5 min to walk to the tram stop. A little oasis with the green and quiet roof terrace and its marvelous view. Checking in and out was also great as well as all the info we got from the owner about early transport and other tips around the city. The only small challenge was getting the luggage up the steep, narrow steps to the 4th floor, but we managed it.

Great place to stay! Nice location, nice warm room, very welcoming host! When you share a house you know that sometimes can be a little bit noisy in the morning. Normal.
