The stairs were dreadful. We had to go up and down. The window faced the courtyard, so keeping it open at night wasn't entirely safe. Late at night, there was noise coming from the window; there was a party in the building next door. Tea at reception is available for a fee.

I stayed during a heat wave, and the lack of air conditioning was intolerable. Keeping the window open was a must but the busy street's noise is really disrupting during the night. Moreover, the fact that there is no elevator and steep stairs is making it even harder - not suitable for people that comes with big luggage. Toilets and showers where per floor and not part of the room. Also the room is very small. For summary, small room, no AC, not good for big luggage, and shared bathrooms

Very good location decent hotel

It's the worst hotel I've ever visited! Very bad!!

Good location and bathroom The owners are not accommodating, hospitality is poor

In a perfect location right in the centre of amsterdam. 7 min walk from central station. All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Vending machines and coffee machine at reception really handy. Rooms are very shabby and need an upgrade. But were clean enough and perfect for a night or 2 stay.

They obviously didn’t clean the room because it’s no smoking but we checked in and there was a plastic bag over the smoke alarm from the guests before us and the room smelt terribly of cigarettes which didn’t leave the room during our stay. A new room or reimburse some could’ve been nice but.

Very friendly staff, very clean rooms. Stairs, oh my god the stairs.

It was in the City Center with access to public transport It doesn't qualify as a Hotel, it should be listed as Hostel, with poor internet, no facilities in the room aside bed and blankets. No mirrors, Televisio n, phone to call reception etc. And the worse of it all is very steep stairs

I liked that it's very practical, just a nice spacious basic room you can spend the night in with very basic things. and it's clean honestly. but again, it's very basic and old fashion. The people at the reception can be a bit more friendly, the only friendly guy is the dark-skin guy and I like to deal with him only, the others not so much. Also : They don't allow my friend to visit even for one hour..... which i don't understand, Most other hotels allow. yes to say no for spending the night, I understand, but for a short visit, why not ?

The walls of the rooms are like they're made of paper, and the entire hotel is filled with sounds of sex and unbelievable noise. When I spoke to reception, they simply told me, "You're in Amsterdam, and this is a cheap hotel It's not even worth 20€

Only the position, it is close the the Amsterdam Central Station. The room was big enough but it was disgusting, even the walls were dirty, the bed was not comfortable at all. I couldn't rest. It's the only room I didn't know how to get out of faster so I wouldn't need to spend more time than showering and "sleeping".

It is good for a night or two, centrally located close to everything. Stuff is very friendly The stairs are very steep, the room smells strange and the furniture is outdated.
