Centric. Good environment. Clean beds and safe boxes. people in the room entering and smashing the door in the middle of the night. . Anyway with earplugs is fine.

Very dirty and hot

The location was perfect and near everything It was so hot, also i got the top bed and the ceiling is so close that you end up hitting your head every time. And climbing is nearly impossible

White Tulip Hostel has an excellent central location in the Red Light District, just a short walk from Dam Square and Amsterdam Central Station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. The hostel offers both dormitory and private rooms with free WiFi and lockers, and 24-hour check-in adds flexibility for travellers. The on-site Irish pub is a bonus, serving meals throughout the day with a lively atmosphere and discounts on food. Overall, it’s a practical and well-located option for both solo travellers and groups. It’s basically impossible to take a nap in the day because of the bell tower ringing every 15 - 30 minutes throughout the whole day even up to 22:00. Lots of foot traffic at the bottom and you can basically eavesdrop on people’s conversations below you. It’s recommended you bring ear plugs. Not the cheap ones because they pop out. Also if you have a top bunk, the ceilings are so low you will basically bump your head every time you sit up. There was always a foul odor coming from the restrooms.

Staff was great and very honest, my credit card got rejected 3 times and they still reserved the room for me. on the day of travel our trains from germany got cancelled and we arrived at 16:00 and our room was still being held for us. Very Honest and great staff, gave us free towels too. Amazing if you want to be in the heart of Amsterdam a bit loud at night, can't blame the hotel to be fair. Guests are to be blamed and the water in the shower was boiling, like straight out the kettle hot. I couldnt adjust it; could've been me, but it was unreasonably hot, like hot hot lol

Not enough ventilation in the common areas. While there was a pot for boiling water and a microwave, no cups or mugs were available, nor was there any tea on offer. One night I was able to borrow a mug from the bar downstairs, but the following morning I was refused and chastised for making exactly the same request!

Overall stay was good. It was located near the center of city so almost everything was nearby. Staff was good check out time was 10.30 am but I requested them to allow me some more time as my flight was late so they allowed me. Clean and good environment but the top beds were to congested. Overall I would totally recommend to go there

Nothing, was there something to be liked? Everything, the top bunk had like 6 inches space between the bed and roof, felt like grave. Worst experience, thank God didn't stay there for more than one night
