Clean hotel with kind staff as most of them are first or second year students Breakfast could have more options and gym is missing

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking below the hotel great for motorbike. it was 20 euros a night. We had one dinner cooked and served by the students. This was an excellent experience. Walking to the centre of Amsterdam takes under an hour. There were difficulties getting WIFI on devices because of complicated security.

Loved everything about this hotel and would choose it again. Students (staff) are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, beds comfortable, room spacious and with nice view, quiet street and super close to the beautiful Rembrandt park. It’s not super close to city centre (bus station right in front though), but we loved everything else.

The excellent customer service. The students go out of their way to answer all your questions, print out attraction information and make sure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast offering was good. There was recently baked sourdough bread. The room was very quiet. We were there for tulip season and they even brought us a vase with tulips and a hand written note. There is easy and frequent public transportation to/from the hotel. We could have used some extra hooks in the bathroom. The bathroom floor got very wet when we showered. We used extra towels to dry the floor, which didn’t allow us to reuse the towels. Didn’t care for their scrambled eggs.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and large for the Amsterdam area. There are tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel. The included breakfast is wonderful. The staff and students went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was expecting this to be a hotel with a school attached but really it's a school with a few hotel rooms attached. Be prepared to walk through what feels like a school, with students hanging out as they wait for classes, study and socialize. A few of the students sometimes seemed curious about who was staying in the rooms. Everyone is very polite but it can seem a little like you are in their space.

The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was very nice.
-
Great service. I would come back much more often if the location was more central No fridge in room

Breakfast, the hotel and the people are great. Always well predisposed and helpful with any questions or doubts. You can rent bikes and move around the city without problems. The location could be a bit far away from city center but you can access public buses and trams and people from the hotel can provide with 1 hour passes.
-
Staff incredibly friendly (expected, since it is a school), good and very quiet bedroom, parking lot available. The breakfast was a little weird, we had to wait for them to come to our table and get our order. Not so many options available, considering a hotel breakfast. But, what was available was very good.

The rooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds. The students were all very helpful and gave exemplary customer service. We were a bit sad we couldn't get a reservation for dinner during the 4 nights we stayed there. We would have loved to experience the restaurant.
-
The place was way beyond my expectations, very pleasant. The Wifi was a bit tricky as I could only connect my phone and not the laptop.

The whole concept of the hotel is so cool, the students/staff are professional, polite, easy going and helpful, and the room was clean, modern and had everything we needed. Every room is inspired by a different hotel chain and I find that very interesting. Location is very good, the tram and bus stops are right in front of the hotel, and they can take you straight to the center of the town. At the reception we bought 72h public transport tickets which helped us a lot during our stay. On the last day, we left hotel before the breakfast because of an early flight, and they provided lunch boxes for us which were great for our breakfast at the airport. We were impressed! If you plan to come to Amsterdam, I highly recommend you to stay at Skotel Amsterdam hotel. So worth the price. We hope we will be back someday ?

The student staff was very professional, attentive, knowledgeable.

Elevators were out of order when I was there but i guess it was a temporary thing.

We just loved the atmosphere with all the students who are so polite, attentive and anxious to meet all our needs! It was nice staying in a place that was removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city though figuring logistics to get back and around town was a bit challenging at first. The mattresses on the bed just didn't work for my wife who after 2 days could barely walk due to a sore back. Also regarding the room we were in, the cabinet features to hang clothes, as well as closing the drapes with the pull rod, were rather challenging for anyone that might be under 3 m tall.

Great location & staff and comfortable beds

Elevators were out of service.
-
Staff were amazing, so helpful and nothing was a problem. Close to parks. Very quiet and clean. Lots of road works around, no direct access into centre (required transfer on train)
-
The friendliness of the staff who are mostly students and the quiet surrounding. The different designs of the room are also interesting. Only that it takes some time to get to the city centre and back to the hotel. However, the nearby tram station is very convenient.
